Who are the Israel of God in the bible?
Notes to readers
There will be the repetitions of facts as you read this book
Who are the ISRAEL of God?
According to the Almighty Lord, Israel means
A. One nation Israel father of
B. many nations or
C. a company of nations
D. multitudes of nations.
These are the very blessings that God bestowed upon
1. Abraham of the
2. One nation Israel
3. father of many nations
4. Many nations
5. Father of Multitudes of nations
Genesis 17. 4-6; 18. 18; 22.18
1. Isaac
2. father of
A company of nations Genesis 26.4
Father of nations
3. Jacob father of
Multitudes of nations,
Father of many nations
Genesis, 35.10-11
The blessings were also bestowed upon Sarah as
Mother of many nations
Genesis 17.15,16
Who are these nations?
a. One nation Israel known as Hebrews or Jews
b. The many nations, or a company of nations or multitudes of nations known as the Gentiles or heathen that came from the loins of Abraham
Since the one nation Israel cannot be many nations, or a company of nations or multitudes of nations therefore it had been in the very heart of the Almighty Lord who had from before the foundation of all things had included the Gentiles or heathen in His master plan of Salvation as this book unfolds:
On whom were these blessings bestowed ?
Abraham in Genesis 17.4-6; 18.18; 22.18
God speaking to Abraham
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceeding fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee father of many nations.
Do you know that God repeated these blessings upon Abraham three times. Why did our Almighty God do this?, God want us to know that we should know the perfection, surety, the certainty, the finality and the importance of these blessings. According to God’s patterned works of salvation and His certainty of His word of making something to stand or perfect or solid or true, or very sure, and as He had said before, out of two or three witnesses is a fact made sure and perfect and stands.
We can also say that Abraham means many nations.
Who are these nations according to the words of God in the bible,
1. Hebrews or Jews,
2. a collection of Gentiles or heathen from all over the world, from all cultures, nationalities, languages, geographical locations, ethnicity and colours, dressings and eating habits.
Also, Sarai became Sarah and God’s blessings upon her as
Mother of nations
🙏Genesis 17.15-16
15 And God said unto Abraham, as for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
16 And I will bless her and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
The blessings upon
Isaac
All the nations of the earth shall be blessed by you, blessings bestowed upon our father Isaac
Our God who does not do things without enough evidence also bestowed the same blessings upon
Isaac in Genesis 26.4
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, an4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed;
The blessings upon
Jacob
The same blessings were bestowed upon our father Jacob, Genesis 35.10-11 thus:
and the Almighty Lord made clear so vividly that He says
1. A nation and
2. A company of nations in
Genesis 35.10-11
10 And God said unto him, thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins.
The same blessings were bestowed upon Sarai who became Sarah mother of many nations
Genesis 35.10-11
The same blessings upon Jacob
10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins; truth of the word “ISRAEL”. This universal word for the Church of Jesus Christ had been downtrodden, neglected or ignored by many scholars. The one nation Israel whom God made the father of all nations, he as the receiver of the blessings that God bestowed upon him has himself neglected the children that were to be born through him, called a company of nations or many nations or multitudes of nations is the centrality of this word. “ISRAEL” bestowed these blessings upon first Eve wife of Adam saying:
14 And the LORD God said unto the serpent, Because thou hast done this, thou art cursed above all cattle, and above every beast of the field; upon thy belly shalt thou go, and dust shalt thou eat all the days of thy life:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
🙏.Now I can tell you the main purpose of writing this book
Firstly, before I go further, I like to tell you how this book that I am writing came into existence.
I Juliana JooSabba was definitely and truly was commanded, compelled, authorised and made to, had been given, duty bound, powered by the Holy Spirit of the Almighty God to make all the churches of Jesus Christ all over the world to understand and take it to hearts the true meaning of the very word “ Israel”
I have listened to many preachers preaching on the one nation of Israel. Commentators explaining that the so called New Testament church have little or nothing to do with the one nation Israel. For many years, I have been drawn to God what this word Israel is all about by prayers and fasting. Then the Almighty Lord made to know what the actual world Israel really meant. In this vision, the voice of God took me to the book of Genesis chapter 3 verse 15 where it says:
God speaking:
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
The Spirit of the Lord made me to understand that the seed of the woman is our Lord Jesus Christ for the salvation of the world. The Spirit of the Lord took me to the blessings that were bestowed upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the fathers of many nations, a company of nations and multitudes of nations. Which means that before the foundation of the world, the Almighty Lord had included the Gentiles or heathen in His work of salvation. So then both Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles are Israel. Though the blessings were bestowed upon the three Pathetical fathers when they were Hebrews or Jews as the one nation Israel, but God will eventually bring out the full meaning of the word Israel at His appointed time in His works of Salvation. I was inspired by this revelation that I started to explore more facts regarding this phenomenon and facts of God’s planned, patterned and purposed of God’s work of salvation for all mankind. I know now that nobody can actually, or knowingly or intentionally Separate this God created one nation Israel known as Hebrews or Jews, from the Gentiles or heathen, known as Israel or multitudes of nations or many nations or a company of nations. God definitely bestowed these blessings upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as the fathers of multitudes of nations or many nations or a company of nations, even upon Sarah the wife of Abraham. The Gentiles or heathen known as a company of nations or multitudes of nations or many nations were included in these blessings. This one nation Israel is the father of all the nations known as multitudes, or many or company of nations. But is this really true. YES unlimited times YES. Can anyone change the course of God’s works of salvation for His church? I say the biggest NO. God had purposed, who then can undo God’s works of salvation.? Surely nobody, for God had planned, patterned, purposed, decreed and mandated this before the foundation of the world. Who then can undo what God had done? This is a phenomenon and the sure plan of the Almighty God for the salvation of the whole world through Jesus Christ the Saviour of the world. His atonement work of remitting our sins by the shedding of His most precious blood.
Now you have read this phenomenon of the planned, patterned and purposed of God’s works of salvation from the exploitations and have now the understanding of the meaning of the word “Israel” you should now be convinced that nobody can separate all the Jews or Hebrews who have eaten the broken flesh and drank the shedding blood of Jesus by faith and have accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour from all the Gentiles or heathen who have eaten the broken flesh and drank the shedding blood of Jesus Christ by faith and has accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour from each other. They are both called “Israel” If Christ made them a church or saints by the eating of His flesh and the drinking of His blood by faith in Him, no one could separate them. In John’s gospel it reads the very words of Jesus Christ Himself: This is the bond that bonded all Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles or heathen believers into Jesus Christ known also as the body of Christ or saints, the redeemed or church as you read more about this phenomenon, the word “Israel”
The importance of the only one and sure way of being in Jesus Christ
John 6.51-57
51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.
52 The Jews therefore strove among themselves, saying, how can this man give us his flesh to eat?
53 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you.
54 Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
55 For my flesh is meat indeed, and my blood is drink indeed.
56 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, dwelleth in me, and I in him.
57 As the living Father hath sent me, and I live by the Father: so, he that eateth me, even he shall live by me
There will be more of the above as you read this unfolding of the true meaning of this word “Israel” according to God Himself
How the master plan of God’s work of Salvation began:
After the fall of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. The Almighty Lord gave His master plan of salvation as follows
Genesis 3.15
And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel. Well According to the bible and the purposes of God Jesus Christ is the seed of the woman as it unfolds.
Who was this woman?
Eve the wife of Adam
Who was the seed?
Jesus Christ who defeated Satan on the cross. The whole bible is about Jesus Christ, who was addressed as the lamb of God by John the Baptist as the lamb of God who take away the sin of the world in
John 1., 29
29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world
The sin that Eve and Adam committed in the garden of Eden. This Adam was the first Adam of the flesh, who sold his innocence to Satan and brought into the world the original sin that can only be forgiven through our Lord Jesus Christ, even though Jesus came in the flesh to destroy the sin that Adam caused through disobedience to God’s first ever commandment:
15 And the LORD God took the man, and put him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to keep it.
16 And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
17 But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
The genealogy to Jesus Christ through Adam

31 And all the days of Lamech were seven hundred seventy and seven years: and he died.
32 And Noah was five hundred years old: and Noah begat Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
Genealogy of Shem

Genealogy of Terah
27 Now these are the generations of Terah: Terah begat Abram, Nahor, and Haran; and Haran begat Lot.
28 And Haran died before his father Terah in the land of his nativity, in Ur of the Chaldees.
29 And Abram and Nahor took them wives: the name of Abram’s wife was Sarai; and the name of Nahor’s wife, Milcah, the daughter of Haran, the father of Milcah, and the father of Iscah.
30 But Sarai was barren; she had no child.
31 And Terah took Abram his son, and Lot the son of Haran his son’s son, and Sarai his daughter in law, his son Abram’s wife; and they went forth with them from Ur of the Chaldees, to go into the land of Canaan; and they came unto Haran, and dwelt there.
32 And the days of Terah were two hundred and five years: and Terah died
Abram or Abraham
Abram or Abraham upon whom the blessings were bestowed by God Almighty
Genesis 17.4; 18.18.
The blessings from God are:
1. multitudes of nations (Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen
2. A company of nations (Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen
3. Many nations (Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen
The three Patriarchal people that received these blessings were:
a. Abraham
b. Isaac
c. Jacob
Before I proceed to tell you more about these blessings and more about the meaning of the name Israel. I like to tell more about my ordeal in listening to so many preachers saying that there will be ten raptures, five or two raptures. Why these opinions are completely heresy and not founded in the bible according to the blessings that God bestowed upon the Patriarchal fathers, the Almighty Lord. In the first place, rapture is a borrowed or custom language that has been passed on from our fathers who did not understand the meaning of the word Israel from there and up till now, and nobody take it to heart to correct it. In the book to the Thessalonians written by Paul, it says that we the saints of Jesus Christ will be “caught up together” to meet the Lord in the air. There is no mention of two caught up together. As the church of Jesus Christ is one known as the body of Christ or her original name Israel multitudes of nations or a company of nations or many nations as you will understand in this book.
1st Thessalonians 14-18
14 For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
15 For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be “caught up together” with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.
Now I can tell you that I was compelled, made to, bound by God’s truth and powered by the Holy Spirit
to write this book about the truth of the word “Israel”
This universal word is what God used for the church of Jesus Christ which has been neglected or ignored by many scholars. The one nation of Israel whom God made the father of many nations, or a company of nations or multitudes of nations, he as the receiver of the blessings that God bestowed upon them as Israel of multitudes of nations, has not been dealt with as it should, both by the Hebrews or Jews or the Gentiles or heathen that have accepted Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Both sides have been at a longer head ever since and each claiming to be better than the other. God made it so clear that the word Israel means father of many nations, multitudes of nations or a company of nations. So, Israel that bear this name cannot be multitudes of nations as she is only one nation with twelve Tribes. The Gentiles or heathen who have accepted Christ went on to say that they are a church apart from the one nation known as Israel. This is completely wrong of these so-called New Testament church. God made it so clear that one cannot do without the other, which made both Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen as one inseparable. The one whole body of Jesus Christ as believers who had eaten the flesh and had drank the blood of Jesus Christ and also known as a church according to God’s blessings upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. This unfolding start with our father Adam from whose lineage came our Lord Jesus the seed of Adam and Eve in Genesis 3.15

😍. The genealogy of Abraham
🙏. The blessings upon Abraham by God as Israel, multitudes of nations or many nations is as follows:
Genesis 17.1-22
Abraham,
1 And when Abram was ninety years old and nine, the LORD appeared to Abram, and said unto him, I am the Almighty God; walk before me, and be thou perfect.
2 And I will make my covenant between me and thee and will multiply thee exceedingly.
3 And Abram fell on his face: and God talked with him, saying,
4 As for me, behold, my covenant is with thee, and thou shalt be a father of many nations.
5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.
6 And I will make thee exceed fruitful, and I will make nations of thee, and kings shall come out of thee.
7 And I will establish my covenant between me and thee and thy seed after thee in their generations for an everlasting covenant, to be a God unto thee, and to thy seed after thee.
8 And I will give unto thee, and to thy seed after thee, the land wherein thou art a stranger, all the land of Canaan, for an everlasting possession; and I will be their God.
9 And God said unto Abraham, Thou shalt keep my covenant therefore, thou, and thy seed after thee in their generations.
10 This is my covenant, which ye shall keep, between me and you and thy seed after thee; Every man child among you shall be circumcised.
11 And ye shall circumcise the flesh of your foreskin; and it shall be a token of the covenant betwixt me and you.
12 And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations, he that is born in the house, or bought with money of any stranger, which is not of thy seed.
13 He that is born in thy house, and he that is bought with thy money, must needs be circumcised: and my covenant shall be in your flesh for an everlasting covenant.
14 And the uncircumcised man child whose flesh of his foreskin is not circumcised, that soul shall be cut off from his people; he hath broken my covenant.
How Sarai became Sarah
15 And God said unto Abraham, as for Sarai thy wife, thou shalt not call her name Sarai, but Sarah shall her name be.
16 And I will bless her and give thee a son also of her: yea, I will bless her, and she shall be a mother of nations; kings of people shall be of her.
1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.
2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.
3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.
The genealogy of Isaac
Isaac father of multitudes of nations
and the blessings of the multitudes of nations or a company of nations or many nations
Genesis 26.2-5
2 And the LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.
5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.he LORD appeared unto him, and said, Go not down into Egypt; dwell in the land which I shall tell thee of:
3 Sojourn in this land, and I will be with thee, and will bless thee; for unto thee, and unto thy seed, I will give all these countries, and I will perform the oath which I sware unto Abraham thy father;
4 And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven, and will give unto thy seed all these countries; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed.
5 Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws.
21 And Isaac intreated the LORD for his wife, because she was barren: and the LORD was intreated of him, and Rebekah his wife conceived.

Acts 10.1
1 Ther1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God alway.
3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Thy prayers and thine alms are come up for a memorial before God.
5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
6 He lodgeth with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the seaside: he shall tell thee what thou oughtest to do.
7 And when the angel which spake unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually.
8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
9 On the morrow, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending unto him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
12 Wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
15 And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
16 This was done thrice: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon’s house, and stood before the gate,
18 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit said unto him, Behold, three men seek thee.
20 Arise therefore, and get thee down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
21 Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom ye seek: what is the cause wherefore ye are come?
22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that feareth God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for thee into his house, and to hear words of thee.
23 Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the morrow Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
24 And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
28 And he said unto them, Ye know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God hath shewed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent ye have sent for me?
30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
31 And said, Cornelius, thy prayer is heard, and thine alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call hither Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he cometh, shall speak unto thee.
33 Immediately therefore I sent to thee; and thou hast well done that thou art come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded thee of God.
34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.
36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
37 That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
40 Him God raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;
41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

From the many references above, one can see that before the foundation of the world, the Almighty Lord had planned, patterned and purposed the Salvation of all nations of the earth who would accept and believe the atonement that Jesus Christ did on the cross. Yes, this salvation is for the whole as Jesus Christ died for the whole world but as a free gift but whosever will, can accept and believe in this precious gift of salvation. God is a loving and a very just God and one who gives His creations a free will or choices. Nobody is forced to accept this salvation but not accepting it leads to separation from the Almighty Lord and the closed gate to God’s kingdom for eternity. The bible says all have sinned and have come short of God’s glory, so we need the atonement that God offered through Jesus Christ. Romans 3.23.
By the atonement that Jesus Christ made through His death, the shedding of His blood His resurrection and His accession. Made these multitudes that are from all the nations of the earth. “cut out” from among the nations of the world by the death, shedding of the blood and the resurrection of Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour for eternity. Now readers, I have been called by God, given, commanded, definitely compelled, bound and powered by the Holy Spirit who will unfold this phenomenal that had been neglected, ignored or mostly out of hatred from both the Hebrews or Jews and the Gentiles or heathen or neglected downtrodden through the ages but now revealed by the Lord Jesus Christ, that the church of Christ may understand who they actually are in relation to the word. “Israel” How can this so important part of the Church of Christ known as the multitudes of nations be left out from the fundamental truth be left untold. This forgotten truth had caused grave damage and hatred between the Hebrews or Jews and the Gentiles or heathen that are supposedly be one according to the atonement that Jesus Christ made on the cross which had broken down the middle wall of partitions.
Ephesians 2.14-22
14 For he is our peace, who hath made both one, and hath broken down the middle wall of partition between us.

5. 19 Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints, and of the household of God.
6. 20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone.
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
With this unfolding, I am not going to bother myself about dictionary meaning of the word “Israel” Because the world does not know the mind of God, dictionary can’t give the actual meaning of the word “Israel”, it won’t be so clear according to God’s own plans , patterns and purpose for this great word “Israel”.purposes. From Genesis all through to the book of Revelation the Almighty God had methodically and majestically, supernaturally planned, patterned and purposed and executed His works of salvation with His power and authority that no man in the world can change or add to it. This plan of God regarding Salvation is before the foundation of the world. Salvation is the masterpiece of God’s work. If I may use this terminology, God made the works of salvation like the spider’s Webb or a jig saw puzzles. Human beings can only understand it, digest it and trust and believe it by the power of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ Himself told us in the gospel of John the works of the Holy Spirit saying:
John 16. 13-15
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
1. Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth:
2. for he shall not speak of himself.
3. but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak:
4. and he will shew you things to come.
5. He shall glorify me:
6. for he shall receive of mine,
7. and shall shew it unto you.
All things that the Father hath are mine: therefore, said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
Who in-fact is the Holy Spirit?
John 4.24
🙏 24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.
24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must
It is a pity that many professed Christians do not know who the Holy Spirit is and mostly how God works His works in different forms. Not as three people in one as many people preach. I am not going into this now.
We as the church of Jesus Christ must always worship God in Spirit and truth
John 4.23
🙏
23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him
worship him in spirit and in truth. So, this salvation is so simple, and it very free to all that come to Jesus Christ like it says in the book to the Romans 10.8-13
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach.
9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
11 For the scripture saith, whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. So then, whoever proclaimed these words and believed wholeheartedly is the Israel of Jesus Christ whether Jew or Hebrews or Gentiles or heathen
Romans 10.12
12 For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him.
The ignorance of the one nation Israel called Hebrews or Jews and the Gentiles or heathen called multitudes of nations or a company of nations or many nations called Israel. It does not matter which way you look at this phenomenon, God had masterminded the whole works of salvation and nobody can change it
The controversy between both the Hebrews or Jews and the Gentiles or heathen
So then with the truth above, how did the Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles or heathen go their separate ways as they have been doing all through the ages? God had bonded them together by accepting and believing the atonement that the blood of Jesus Christ gave and in believing are called the one and only body of Christ or church of Christ even before the foundation of the world when He God called them multitudes of nations when this name “ Israel” was bestowed on these three Patriarchal fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob as a universal word for all the people from all the different nations of the world that are converted to Jesus Christ through His saving blood that He shed on the cross for their Salvation.
The truth of these blessings cannot be ignored or destroyed or neglected the one church of Jesus Christ (a) a company of nations, (b) Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles or heathen)
(B) multitudes of nations or (Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles or heathen)
(C) many nations, (Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles or heathen)
nations, In these three blessings that God Almighty bestowed upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, the Gentiles or heathen were these, the Gentiles or heathen are included in the background, since the one nation of Israel cannot make up to many nations, but at the appointed time of God through the three Patriarchal people and their seeds who are:
Abraham
Isaac
Jacob
God had planned, patterned and purposed this even before the foundation of the world that this truth must be followed

This book tells you readers that there is one and only rapture for all the saints of Jesus Christ both Jews or Hebrews or one nation Israel and the Gentiles or heathen who accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour sincerely and work the works of Christ.
The works of God’s salvation also included the lineage of Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ
💁 The genealogy of Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ as His true lineage
By reading the words below, one would be convinced that our Lord Jesus Christ’s as the seed of David in flesh came from His mother Mary who was the cousin to Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist.
How Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ came to be part of the lineage that made Jesus Christ the seed of King David in flesh. By the full interpretation of this passage below, Aaron the first priest of Israel was the son of Amiram, also the father of Moses and Miriam the Levites.
If Elizabeth the wife of Zachariah, was the cousin of Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. This Elizabeth was of the daughter of Aaron the first priest of Israel.
Luke 1. 5-25
5 There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course,
9 According to the custom of the priest’s office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.
10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.
11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.
12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.
13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard; and thy wife Elisabeth shall bear thee a son, and thou shalt call his name John.
14 And thou shalt have joy and gladness; and many shall rejoice at his birth.
15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Ghost, even from his mother’s womb.
16 And many of the children of Israel shall he turn to the Lord their God.
17 And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.
18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.
19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto thee, and to shew thee these glad tidings.
20 And, behold, thou shalt be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because thou believest not my words, which shall be fulfilled in their season.
21 And the people waited for Zacharias, and marvelled that he tarried so long in the temple.
22 And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them and remained speechless.
23 And it came to pass, that, as soon as the days of his ministration were accomplished, he departed to his own house.
24 And after those days his wife Elisabeth conceived, and hid herself five months, saying,

6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.
7 And they had no child, because that Elisabeth was barren, and they both were now well stricken in years.
8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest’s office before God in the order of his course,

Luke 1.26-36
26 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth,
27 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary.
28 And the angel came in unto her, and said, Hail, thou that art highly favoured, the Lord is with thee: blessed art thou among women.
29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God.
31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David:
33 And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end.
34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?
35 And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.
36 And, behold, thy Cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
The thirty sixth verse of the above tells us clearly that Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist, was a cousin to Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, then Jesus Christ is the lineage of Aaron and a Levite as well. This was the word of angel Gabriel who spoke to Mary and Elizabeth. So, our Lord Jesus Christ came to be the seed of David in flesh through His mother who is the cousin of Elizabeth of the daughter of Aaron. I cannot explain why this was omitted from the lineage of Jesus Christ.
The four women in the lineage of Jesus Christ
Whatever the reason, there are four women in the lineage of Jesus Christ,
Rahab the mother of Boax, lineage of Jesus Christ
3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram.
4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon.
5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab.
This Rachab or Rahab is the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ
and Booz begat Obed as begat Phares and Zara of
Thamar: the one who played harlot to her father in law in:
Genesis 38.1-30
1 And it came to pass at that time, that Judah went down from his brethren, and turned in to a certain Adullamite, whose name was Hirah.
2 And Judah saw there a daughter of a certain Canaanite, whose name was Shuah; and he took her, and went in unto her.
3 And she conceived and bare a son; and he called his name Er.
4 And she conceived again and bare a son; and she called his name Onan.
5 And she yet again conceived and bare a son; and called his name Shelah: and he was at Chezib, when she bares him.
6 And Judah took a wife for Er his firstborn, whose name was Tamar.
7 And Er, Judah’s firstborn, was wicked in the sight of the LORD; and the LORD slew him.
8 And Judah said unto Onan, Go in unto thy brother’s wife, and marry her, and raise up seed to thy brother.
9 And Onan knew that the seed should not be his; and it came to pass, when he went in unto his brother’s wife, that he spilled it on the ground, lest that he should give seed to his brother.
10 And the thing which he did displeased the LORD: wherefore he slew him also.
11 Then said Judah to Tamar his daughter in law, Remain a widow at thy father’s house, till Shelah my son be grown: for he said, Lest peradventure he die also, as his brethren did. And Tamar went and dwelt in her father’s house.
12 And in process of time the daughter of Shuah Judah’s wife died; and Judah was comforted, and went up unto his sheepshearers to Timnath, he and his friend Hirah the Adullamite.
13 And it was told Tamar, saying, Behold thy father in law goeth up to Timnath to shear his sheep.
14 And she put her widow’s garments off from her, and covered her with a vail, and wrapped herself, and sat in an open place, which is by the way to Timnath; for she saw that Shelah was grown, and she was not given unto him to wife.
15 When Judah saw her, he thought her to be an harlot; because she had covered her face.
16 And he turned unto her by the way, and said, Go to, I pray thee, let me come in unto thee; (for he knew not that she was his daughter in law.) And she said, What wilt thou give me, that thou mayest come in unto me?
17 And he said, I will send thee a kid from the flock. And she said, Wilt thou give me a pledge, till thou send it?
18 And he said, What pledge shall I give thee? And she said, Thy signet, and thy bracelets, and thy staff that is in thine hand. And he gave it her, and came in unto her, and she conceived by him.
19 And she arose, and went away, and laid by her vail from her, and put on the garments of her widowhood.
20 And Judah sent the kid by the hand of his friend the Adullamite, to receive his pledge from the woman’s hand: but he found her not.
21 Then he asked the men of that place, saying, Where is the harlot, that was openly by the wayside? And they said, there was no harlot in this place.
22 And he returned to Judah, and said, I cannot find her; and, the men of the place said, that there was no harlot in this place.
23 And Judah said, Let her take it to her, lest we be shamed: behold, I sent this kid, and thou hast not found her.
24 And it came to pass about three months after, that it was told Judah, saying, Tamar thy daughter in law hath played the harlot; and, behold, she is with child by whoredom. And Judah said, Bring her forth, and let her be burnt.
25 When she was brought forth, she sent to her father in law, saying, By the man, whose these are, am I with child: and she said, Discern, I pray thee, whose are these, the signet, and bracelets, and staff.
26 And Judah acknowledged them, and said, She hath been more righteous than I, because that I gave her not to Shelah my son. And he knew her again no more.
27 And it came to pass in the time of her travail, that, behold, twins were in her womb.
28 And it came to pass, when she travailed, that the one put out his hand: and the midwife took and bound upon his hand a scarlet thread, saying, This came out first.
29 And it came to pass, as he drew back his hand, that, behold, his brother came out: and she said, How hast thou broken forth? this breach be upon thee: therefore his name was called Pharez.
30 And afterward came out his brother, that had the scarlet thread upon his hand: and his name was called Zarah.
From the truth in the lives of these four women came the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ and the seed of David in flesh
Romans 1. 3
1. Concerning his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh; his Son Jesus Christ our Lord, which was made of the seed of David according to the flesh;
Ruth the lineage of our Lord Jesus Christ This Ruth was from a Gentiles word who showed the amazing love that was very rare, intriguing and shows the love that Christ her bloodline have for the Church I pray that all believers in Christ should proclaim these love that Ruth had for her mother in law to Christ who gave His life for us.
Ruth 1.16-17
🙏16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:
17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.This love that Ruth proclaimed to her mother in law is profound, endless love and very genuinely spoken from the heart of Ruth A love that has no boundaries, unlimited and trustworthy as you read the story of Ruth. But when you think of the actual background of this Ruth, Who would have thought that this Ruth could be the linage of our Lord Jesus Christ in flesh through king David as you read along., Ruth 4. 1-22. Considering her root, the generation of Lot the nephew of Abraham. Lot whose two daughters got pregnant by their father Lot. Genesis 19.34-38. The nations that the Almighty God commanded that they should not come to His congregation until their tenth generation and for ever Deuteronomy 23.3. Naomi did not envisage what God Almighty would do through her when she concluded saying that her misfortune was a punishment from God. But look at how our wonderful God worked His works of Salvation. This shows us that d ways of God is beyond human knowledge, understanding or wisdom. Is past finding out. Thanks be to Him who had allowed us to know what He wanted us to know about Himself through His Holy Spirit in us.
Ruth. 4.1-22
1 Then went Boaz up to the gate, and sat him down there: and, behold, the kinsman of whom Boaz spake came by; unto whom he said, Ho, such a one! turn aside, sit down here. And he turned aside and sat down.
2 And he took ten men of the elders of the city, and said, Sit ye down here. And they sat down.
3 And he said unto the kinsman, Naomi, that is come again out of the country of Moab, selleth a parcel of land, which was our brother Elimelech’s:
4 And I thought to advertise thee, saying, Buy it before the inhabitants, and before the elders of my people. If thou wilt redeem it, redeem it: but if thou wilt not redeem it, then tell me, that I may know for there is none to redeem it beside thee; and I am after thee. And he said, I will redeem it.
5 Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.
6 And the kinsman said, I cannot redeem it for myself, lest I mar mine own inheritance: redeem thou my right to thyself; for I cannot redeem it.
7 Now this was the manner in former time in Israel concerning redeeming and concerning changing, for to confirm all things; a man plucked off his shoe, and gave it to his neighbour: and this was a testimony in Israel.
8 Therefore the kinsman said unto Boaz, Buy it for thee. So he drew off his shoe.
9 And Boaz said unto the elders, and unto all the people, Ye are witnesses this day, that I have bought all that was Elimelech’s, and all that was Chilion’s and Mahlon’s, of the hand of Naomi.
10 Moreover Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of Mahlon, have I purchased to be my wife, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance, that the name of the dead be not cut off from among his brethren, and from the gate of his place: ye are witnesses this day.
11 And all the people that were in the gate, and the elders, said, We are witnesses. The LORD make the woman that is come into thine house like Rachel and like Leah, which two did build the house of Israel: and do thou worthily in Ephratah, and be famous in Bethlehem:
12 And let thy house be like the house of Pharez, whom Tamar bare unto Judah, of the seed which the LORD shall give thee of this young woman.
13 So Boaz took Ruth, and she was his wife: and when he went in unto her, the LORD gave her conception, and she bare a son.
14 And the women said unto Naomi, Blessed be the LORD, which hath not left thee this day without a kinsman, that his name may be famous in Israel.
15 And he shall be unto thee a restorer of thy life, and a nourisher of thine old age: for thy daughter in law, which loveth thee, which is better to thee than seven sons, hath born him.
16 And Naomi took the child, and laid it in her bosom, and became nurse unto it.
17 And the women her neighbours gave it a name, saying, There is a son born to Naomi; and they called his name Obed: he is the father of Jesse, the father of David.
18 Now these are the generations of Pharez: Pharez begat Hezron,
19 And Hezron begat Ram, and Ram begat Amminadab,
20 And Amminadab begat Nahshon, and Nahshon begat Salmon,
21 And Salmon begat Boaz, and Boaz begat Obed,
22 And Obed begat Jesse, and Jesse begat David
Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ was the lineage of Jesus Christ through Aaron. These four women are the roots of our Lord Jesus Christ which cannot be denied. This Mary the cousin of Elizabeth of the daughter of Aaron the first priest in the bible. This Elizabeth was the wife of Zacariah the priest and father of John the Baptist. Mary the espoused wife of Joseph the father of our Lord Jesus Christ

Who were Gentiles or heathen in the Bible?
“Gentiles or heathen means multitudes of nations,” according to the Bible The term Gentile or heathen does not really describe who someone is, but rather who they are not – a Jew or Hebrews. A Gentile or heathen is one belonging to many nations or peoples, groups other than the Jewish or Hebrews people’s groups.
🙏. What is a nation?
A nation is people of different cultures, races, colours, customs, languages and geographical locations.
Dictionary meaning of a nation
A nation is a large group of people with strong bonds of identity – an “imagined community,” a tribe on a grand scale. The nation may have a claim to statehood or self-rule, but it does not necessarily enjoy a state of its own. National identity is typically based on shared culture, religion, history, language or ethnicity, though disputes arise as to who is truly a member of the national community or even whether the “nation” exists at all (do you have to speak French to be Québécois? are Wales and Tibet nations?). Nations seem so compelling, so “real,” and so much a part of the political and cultural landscape, that people think they have lasted forever. In reality, they come into being and dissolve with changing historical circumstances – sometimes over a relatively short period of time, like Czechoslovakia and Yugoslavia. Why, then, does national identity give rise to such extremely strong feelings? And why would so many be ready to “die for the nation” in time of war? Because of migration, most modern states include within their borders diverse communities that challenge the idea of national homogeneity and give rise to the community of citizenship, rather than membership in the nation. In the age of global transportation and communication, new identities arise to challenge the “nation,” but the pull of nationalism remains a powerful force to be reckoned with – and a glue that binds states together and helps many people (for better and for worse) make sense out of a confusing reality.
Gentile or heathen is one belonging to many nations or people’s groups of different languages, cultures and colours and cultures other than the Jewish or Hebrews people or the Hebrews. Therefore, to grasp the significance of what it is to be Gentile or heathen, we must first grasp what it is to be Jewish or Hebrews.
We know from biblical accounts that God gave the Hebrews or Jewish the one nation (Israel):
His laws written down in stone (Exodus 20)
Cultural boundaries that protected the vulnerable in society (Exodus 23:6, Leviticus 23:22, Deuteronomy 10:18)
Access to God’s forgiveness and presence (Leviticus 16)
Promises made by God Himself (Genesis 12:1-3, Exodus 33:14, Joshua 1:5-9)
Gentile nations did not have the same access to knowledge of God’s laws, and they usually broke God’s laws repeatedly and in reprehensible ways (Genesis 6:5, Genesis 18:20-21, Judges 19).
But Biblical accounts plainly show that the Jewish or Hebrews people were not inherently any less sinful than Gentiles or the heathen (Exodus 32:1-22). Only because they were chosen by God in his grace and mercy, Jews or Hebrews had hope for the atonement of their sins (Leviticus 16:30,34; Deuteronomy 7:6-8).
However, Gentile or heathen nations were not completely without hope. God demonstrated His heart for the nations by including them in His covenant with Abraham – the father of one nation Israel.
God’s Bible Promises for Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen
1. God’s promise to make Abraham into a great nation – Israel and multitudes of nations or a company of nations or many nations will which included the Gentiles or heathen
God promised (Genesis 12:1-3) and reminded (Genesis 15:4-6; Genesis 17:19-20) Abraham that He would make a great nation from his “own flesh and blood,” (Genesis 15:4).
But as Abraham and his wife Sarah aged without bearing any children, this promised became increasingly difficult to believe. In time, God fulfilled His promise by providing the couple with a son, Isaac which mean laughter, because they both laughed at the hearing that they will a have a son when they knew they have far pass the age of bearing children. (Genesis 21:2). God provided! Now it would actually be possible to build a nation – one child at a time. However, the story took a turn when God told Abraham to sacrifice his only son.
Abraham shows his reverential obedience to God by taking Isaac up to the alter. With Abraham’s heart fully surrendered to God’s revealed will, we pick up in Genesis 22, where the angel of the Lord stopped Abraham from killing Isaac and provided a substitute sacrifice (an allegory for the coming Jesus Christ).
2. God’s promise to bless the nations of the earth – the Gentiles or heathen.
The next passage mirrors Abraham’s obedience and God’s promise back in Genesis 12. In both Scripture passages, God’s promise to make Abraham into a great nation is also a promise of blessing for the nations of the world – the Gentiles or heathen.
“The angel of the LORD called to Abraham from heaven a second time and said, ‘I swear by myself, declares the LORD, that because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son, I will surely bless you and make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky and as the sand on the seashore. Your descendants will take possession of the cities of their enemies, and through your offspring all nations on earth will be blessed, because you have obeyed me’” (Genesis 22:15-18).
God’s plan all along was one of blessing for all nations of the world which included the Gentiles or heathen. Because of Israel’s witness to God’s power and love, Gentiles or heathen throughout the Old Testament were drawn to the God of Israel of multitudes of nations. They came to know God by the testimony of his people and the Word he revealed.
How Could Gentiles or heathen Worship God that they have not known? Even though their names where written with the one nation of Israel as the multitudes of nations or a company of nations One thing for sure is that Israel cannot be nations. So, when God pronounced the blessings of multitudes of nation on Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, He had the Gentiles or heathen in mind and will bring this His plan into fulfilment at His appointed time. This God’s time was not known to the one nation Israel. Had they had known; they would not have accused Peter going to Cornelius’s house in the book of
Acts 4.5 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Ghost as well as we?
1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word of God.
2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
3 Saying, Thou wentest in to men uncircumcised, and didst eat with them.
4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw fourfooted beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time entered into my mouth.
9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.
10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
12 And the Spirit bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man’s house:
13 And he shewed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
14 Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved.
15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
From the above readers, you can see how God, the master planner of good things brought about the promised blessings that He pronounced upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob came upon the Gentiles or heathen hidden for so many decades came to God’s fulfilment through Peter first and through Paul whom God sent to them
1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name’s sake.
Israel was to be Father of the one nation Israel known as multitudes of Nations or a company of nations or many nations including the Gentiles or heathen according to the interpretation of the word Israel.
God made it clear in Deuteronomy 4:5-8 (and elsewhere, such as in Isaiah 49:6) that Israel was to be a witness to the world. As Gentiles or heathen were drawn to the God of Israel, the Lord gave Moses and Aaron instructions for circumcising those who wanted to be grafted into the Jewish faith and worship God (Exodus 12:47-48).
“For by this means [a Gentile or heathen] would become a proselyte of righteousness and in all respects as an Israelite, or son of Abraham, a native and proper inhabitant of Canaan, enjoying all the privileges and immunities of such.”
Gentile or heathen converts could join in worshipping God of the whole earth through the blood of Jesus Christ, without which no human beings can approach the Holy God.
In most cases where the word Gentile or heathen is used in the Old Testament, it is used negatively, referencing their wickedness and warning Israel to be separate from them. God insisted on this separation not because the Jewish or the Hebrews ethnicity was anything holy in itself, but to protect the purity of their faith and to bring in latter the complete Church of Christ known as the multitudes or a company of nations as pronounced on Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Still, Jews were often drawn astray to the gods of other nations (1 Kings 11:1-6).
Gentile or heathen converts were welcome, but not their sinful beliefs and practices. Gentiles or heathen , like the Jews, needed their sin to be cleansed through Jesus Christ in order to have peace with God. Before Jesus Christ came to completely forgive (Ephesians 1:7-8) and take away sin (1 John 3:5), this meant rigorously keeping the Law of Moses and sacrificing when the Law was inevitably broken.
Gentiles or heathen in the Old Testament: How Were They Treated?
God declared and demonstrated his heart for the nations from the beginning in the way he reached out to Gentiles and welcomed them into the faith.
1. God reached out to Gentiles or heathen.
Nineveh: The Assyrian city, Nineveh, was a sinful Gentile city in desperate need of repentance, unbeknownst to them. God told the Jewish prophet, Jonah, “Go to the great city of Nineveh and preach against it, because its wickedness has come up before me” (Jonah 1:2). Once they heard Jonah’s message, they believed God and repented from evil (Jonah 3:5-8). Then, “when God saw what they did and how they turned from their evil ways, he relented and did not bring on them the destruction he had threatened” (Jonah 3:10).
Hagar: God also reached out to Hagar, a Gentile or heathen slave of Abraham and Sarah, when she was treated poorly and in need. (See Genesis 16.)
2. God welcomed Gentiles or heathen into the faith.
Ruth: Ruth, a childless Gentile or heathen widow, went with her mother-in-law to live in Israel, seeking refuge under the wings of the God of Israel (Ruth 2:12). God cared for the women, vulnerable and alone, by providing Ruth with a good husband and a son. She was not only included in God’s blessings, but also in the lineage of Jesus Christ.
Rahab: The man who married Ruth was the son of another Gentile woman, Rahab. Rahab was spared from death as the city of Jericho burned (Joshua 6:25) because she had faith in the God of Israel (Ruth 2:9-11) and protected Jewish men spying out her country (Ruth 2:4). Rahab is the first recorded Gentile convert.
3. God used Gentiles or heathen to judge Israel.
God also allowed Gentile or heathen nations to flourish and even conquer Israel in his righteous judgement, like in Ezra 5:12.
Gentiles or heathen in the New Testament: What Did Jesus Say?
Although Jesus focused his limited time of earthly ministry teaching and making disciples of Jewish people, he knew the ultimate plan was for all nations to hear the gospel. God’s salvation was, as Paul said, “first for the Jew, then for the Gentile or heathen ” (Romans 1:16, Romans 2:10).
Jesus intentionally interacted with Gentiles or heathen in front of his disciples, leaving them an example of God’s heart for the nations.
1. Jesus desired the Gentiles or heathen (the nations) in his kingdom.
The Devil attempted to exploit and pervert this desire in Matthew 4: 1-11 when he temped Jesus with “all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor” (Matthew 4:8). The redemption of all nations in the world was vital to Jesus’ plan, as expressed in John 3:16-17.
2. Jesus felt compassion and showed love for Gentiles or heathen (and the Samaritans: those with mixed Jewish and Gentile heritage).
Jesus healed a Canaanite woman’s demon-possessed daughter and praised the woman’s faith (Matthew 15: 21-28). He also healed a Romans centurion’s paralyzed servant (Matthew 8:5-13). Jesus engaged with a Samaritan woman and shared the good news about salvation with her in John 4:1-26.
3. Jesus told his disciples to go to the nations with the gospel.
The last recorded words Jesus said before ascending to heaven after his death and resurrection were these:
“All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age” (Matthew 28: 18-20).
4. Jesus sent the Apostle Paul to the Gentiles.
Jesus appeared to Paul (Acts 9) and named Paul his “chosen instrument to proclaim [his] name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel” (Acts 9:15). Paul spent the rest of his life preaching the gospel and making disciples among Gentiles or heathen as well as Jews.
Jews viewed Gentiles or heathen as inherently unclean, which was a significant problem in the early church. Throughout Paul’s ministry, he spoke out against this stigma and preached Jesus to the Gentiles (Romans 3:22, Romans 10:12, Galatians 3:28, Colossians 3:11).
The Apostle Peter’s stigma about Gentiles was also challenged. He had a vision (Acts 10:9-22) in which a voice told him, “Do not call anything impure that God has made clean” (Acts 10:15). This referred to Gentiles, and Peter ended up inviting Gentile visitors into his home as guests, which would have made him unclean under Jewish or Hebrews law. But those who are in Christ are cleansed from all their sin by the blood of Jesus (1 John 1:7).
1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sitteth upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
14 And I said unto him, Sir, thou knowest. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall dwell among them.
16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
In the above chapter God showed the Apostle John a vision of heaven, recorded in the Book of Revelation 7. 1-1
9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes
. In it, God’s kingdom was full of people – Jews and Gentiles or heathen that were redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ – worshipping their savior.
“I looked, and behold, a great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed in white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, ‘Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!’” (Revelation 7:9-10).
Galatians 3:28-29 King James Version (KJV)
28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
29 And if ye be Christ’s, then are ye Abraham’s seed, and heirs according to the promise.
What does God say about the Gentiles or heathen?
Christian Bibles
It is translated as “nations” 374 times, “heathen” 143 times, “gentiles” 30 times, and “people” 11 times. Some of these verses, such as Genesis 12:2 (“I will make of thee a great nation”) and Genesis 25:23 (“Two nations are in thy womb”) refer to Israelites or descendants of Abraham who was the great, great , great grandfather of Jacob
Jacob the wrestler
In the Old Testament, Israel (who was formerly named Jacob; see Genesis 32:28) wrestles with an angel. The ancient and modern states of Israel took their names from him as a wrestler. But this name was just the begging of the blessings that God will be bestowed upon this Jacob as father of multitudes of nation giving to him by his father Isaac after eating the food when Jacob disguised himself as Esau. Then God Almighty bestowed upon him again the blessings of father of many nations. And God changed his name from Jacob to Israel
Israel according to God brought the actual meaning of the word Israel as to include many nations or multitudes of nations or a company of nations which included the Gentiles or heathen nations not just Israel the who wrested with God in Genesis
Genesis 32.24-30
24 And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.
25 And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.
26 And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.
27 And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.
28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.
29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.
30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.
Genesis 35.9-11
9 And God appeared unto Jacob again, when he came out of Padanaram, and blessed him.
10 And God said unto him, Thy name is Jacob: thy name shall not be called any more Jacob, but Israel shall be thy name: and he called his name Israel.
11 And God said unto him, I am God Almighty: be fruitful and multiply; a nation and a company of nations shall be of thee, and kings shall come out of thy loins;
Jacob, grandson of Abraham, was named Israel after he had wrestled with God (Gen 32:28 ). This name is a combination of the Hebrew words for “wrestle” and”God” (because sareta [you have wrestled] with God [‘el] and men you will be called yisrael). When Jacob had returned to Canaan, God commanded him to settle in Bethel; there God appeared to Jacob again and repeated that his name was no longer Jacob but Israel. This confirmation of the naming was followed by God confirming his covenant with Jacob (Gen. 35:9-12), emphasizing specific elements of the covenant he had made with Abraham ( Gen 17:1-8 ). The name, expressing the concept of wrestling, clinging firmly to God, and overcoming, and God’s confirming of his covenant with Jacob, indicates that Israel is to be understood as Jacob’s covenant name. The name spoke of his being bound with a bond of life and love to God. His descendants were at times referred to as Hebrews ( Genesis 39:14 Genesis 39:17 ; 40:15 ; 41:12 ), and when they were slaves in Egypt ( Exod 1:15 ; 2:13 ), and occasionally in other contexts (e.g., Deut 15:12 ; 1 Sam 4:6 ; Isa 36:11 ; Jeremiah 34:9 Jeremiah 34:14 ).Eventually they were known as Jews (first mentioned in Jer 32:12 ). The use of these references, “Hebrew” and “Jew or Hebrews, ” indicated that among the nations, Abraham and Jacob’s descendants were thus known nationally and/or ethnically. The name “Israel, ” however, referred to Jacob’s descendants’ spiritual, covenant al, and religious heritage. The name “Israel” spoke of the ethnic or national Hebrews’ and Jews’ unique relationship with God. There was a time when the name was not used to refer to all of Jacob’s descendants because after the division of the tribes, the northern ten tribes were known as Israel and the southern tribes as Judah. After the exile it was used again to refer to the entire community. This name Israel incorporated the Gentiles or heathen as multitudes of nations was now extended to a company of nations and multitudes of nations which and no longer the one nation of Israel who wrestled with God. The part of the blessings of a company of nations was ignored by many scholars for acknowledgement. Both Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen converts to Jesus Christ. This is exactly where the confusion came from, that the church divided into New Testament church. The church of Christ is one, comprising of converted Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen who are the multitudes of nations according to God.
Jesus Christ says I will build my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it. There is nowhere in the bible where Christ says I will build my churches. The church of Christ is one body of Christ like the olive tree with many branches stated in the Romans 11.1-36
1 I say then, Hath God cast away his people? God forbids. For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin.
2 God hath not cast away his people which he foreknew. Wot ye not what the scripture saith of Elias? how he maketh intercession to God against Israel, saying,
3 Lord, they have killed thy prophets, and digged down thine altars; and I am left alone, and they seek my life.
4 But what saith the answer of God unto him? I have reserved to myself seven thousand men, who have not bowed the knee to the image of Baal.
5 Even so then at this present time also there is a remnant according to the election of grace.
6 And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded.
8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear;) unto this day.
9 And David saith, Let their table be made a snare, and a trap, and a stumblingblock, and a recompence unto them:
10 Let their eyes be darkened, that they may not see, and bow down their back alway.
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.
12 Now if the fall of them be the riches of the world, and the diminishing of them the riches of the Gentiles; how much more their fulness?
13 For I speak to you Gentiles, inasmuch as I am the apostle of the Gentiles, I magnify mine office:
14 If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them.
15 For if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?
16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.
17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree;
18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.
19 Thou wilt say then, The branches were broken off, that I might be graffed in.
20 Well; because of unbelief they were broken off, and thou standest by faith. Be not highminded, but fear:
21 For if God spared not the natural branches, take heed lest he also spare not thee.
22 Behold therefore the goodness and severity of God: on them which fell, severity; but toward thee, goodness, if thou continue in his goodness: otherwise thou also shalt be cut off.
23 And they also, if they abide not still in unbelief, shall be graffed in: for God is able to graff them in again.
24 For if thou wert cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and wert graffed contrary to nature into a good olive tree: how much more shall these, which be the natural branches, be graffed into their own olive tree?
25 For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
26 And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob:
27 For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins.
28 As concerning the gospel, they are enemies for your sakes: but as touching the election, they are beloved for the fathers’ sakes.
29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
30 For as ye in times past have not believed God, yet have now obtained mercy through their unbelief:
31 Even so have these also now not believed, that through your mercy they also may obtain mercy.
32 For God hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.
33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!
34 For who hath known the mind of the Lord? or who hath been his counsellor?
35 Or who hath first given to him, and it shall be recompensed unto him again?
36 For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
The Old Testament should not be considered to be specifically a record of Israel’s national history only, of its unique religion, and of its hopes for the future. The Scriptures are also used as a source for understand ing God’s redemptive activities on behalf of and goals for Israel. While it is true that these are aspects of the Old Testament record, the more inclusive message is to reveal how God sovereignly chose to prepare and use Israel as his unique mediatorial agent for a Salvation. He unfolded his kingdom plan on behalf of all races, nations, peoples, and ethnic groups known as a company of nations or multitudes of nations
God’s purposes for choosing Israel can be understood as follows
Israel was to, and did, bring the Messiah to Israel one nation among multitudes of nations and to the nations of the world. God had assured Adam and Eve that the seed of the woman would crush Satan’s head and thereby undo the disobedience, sinfulness, and corruption resulting from their deviation from God and their breaking of the covenant. Of Noah’s progeny, Shem was identified as the seed-bearing progenitor ( Gen 9:24-27 ).Then Abram/Abraham was called and told by God that through him all nations of the whole world were to be blessed ( Gen 12:3 ).It was to be through Abraham’s seed ( Gen 15:5 ; 17:1-8 ) that God would bring in the Messiah and the sure redemptive victory over Satan, sin, and its effects. This seed line was narrowed to Isaac, Jacob/Israel, Judah, through the lineage of David,
Luke 1.5-6
There was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
And they were both e days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.
And they were both righteous before God
Luke 1. 36 And, 36. And, behold, thy Cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren. Behold, thy Cousin Elisabeth, she hath also conceived a son in her old age: and this is the sixth month with her, who was called barren.
These two facts brings the truth of how Christ came through the defendant of King David and of the priesthood of Aaron, through Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ. How Elizabeth the daughter of Aaron and Mary her cousin. This fact was always omitted from the preachers of the bible all through the ages. How can this truth be ignored deliberately and omitted? But thanks be to the Almighty God and the truth of His word. Even though in the book to the Romans about the priesthood of Jesus Christ as that of Melchizedek
Genesis 14.1-28
1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the highest God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him.
2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace.
3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abideth a priest continually.
4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.
5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:
6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.
7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receiveth them, of whom it is witnessed that he liveth.
9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receiveth tithes, payed tithes in Abraham.
10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.
13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertaineth to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.
14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spake nothing concerning priesthood.
15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the similitude of Melchisedec there ariseth another priest,
16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.
17 For he testifieth, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
22 By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament.
23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.
25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
27 Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people’s: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.
28 For the law maketh men high priests which have infirmity; but the word of the oath, which was since the law, maketh the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.
.
If the readers would consider this passage from Genesis will noticed that women were completely taken out from this text, not counting the relationship between Elizabeth the wife of Zachriah’s priesthood and Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ, this is the truth of how David king of Israel became the father of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This I can say omission in the part of the reverend fathers who translated the bible.God never neglect women.
Meanwhile all of Abraham’s seed was to serve as light to the peoples of the world ( Isa 9:2-7 ; 42:6 ; 49:6 This makes the Gentiles or heathen who accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour the complete part of the Israel, the name given to Abraham by God Almighty when He said to him father of many nations in Genesis 17. So this name Israel cannot be completely have her full meaning until the number of the Gentiles or heathen is fulfilled. Therefore, all the Jews or Hebrews that accepts Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour and the Gentiles or heathen that accepts Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are the complete Israel according to the Almighty Lord.To this, there is no more questions or argument in this matter. When you read the book of revelation chapter 21 1-
1 An1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.
2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.
4 And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.
6 And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely.
7 He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son.
8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels which had the seven vials full of the seven last plagues, and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride, the Lamb’s wife.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal;
12 And had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel:
13 On the east three gates; on the north three gates; on the south three gates; and on the west three gates.
14 And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.
15 And he that talked with me had a golden reed to measure the city, and the gates thereof, and the wall thereof.
16 And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, an hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
20 The fifth, sardonyx; the sixth, sardius; the seventh, chrysolyte; the eighth, beryl; the ninth, a topaz; the tenth, a chrysoprasus; the eleventh, a jacinth; the twelfth, an amethyst.
21 And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
22 And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are the temple of it.
23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.
24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.
25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.
26 And they shall bring the glory and honour of the nations into it.
27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb’s book of life.
With the clarity of facts from the above chapter of revelation 21. Wether you are Hebrew or Jews converted to Jesus Christ through His blood sincerely, you are Israel. There is nowhere in this chapter that mentions Church. Though Jesus Christ says that I will build my Church the “complete Israel”and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it. The rapture or the redeemed are Israel.
inseparably related to this first and all-inclusive purpose, was Israel’s divinely determined role to give, uphold, and preserve the Scriptures, both the Old and New Testaments. This written Word is the sure, infallible record of how God created the cosmos, and how he purposed to bring redemption and restoration to the cosmos and its inhabitants. Without this written word there would be no record of what God had done, promised, and carried out. Once Israel was formed as a people under Moses’ mediatorial leadership, this first part of the word was written by him; and it was added to by other Israelite writers, historians, poets, sages, and prophets. Thus, Israel’s divinely determined purpose was to bring the eternal living Word, Jesus Christ ( John 1:1-3 ), and the inspired, inerrant, and infallible written word to all the nations of the world—including themselves.
Israel, by God’s determinate counsel, was given the unique role of being a mediatorial people. God called Abraham from a “corner” of the then known world to place him in the center among the nations. There, with smaller nations as near neighbors, Syria, Ammon, Moab, Edom, Philistia, Tyre, Sidon, and larger ones beyond, the Arabians, Egyptian, Hittite, Assyrian, and Babylonian, Israel was made to be a peculiar treasure, to be a kingdom, a priestly people, and a holy nation ( Exod 19:4-6 ). This multifaceted role was not just simply for Israel’s sake. Israel was elected, empowered, qualified, and given the opportunity in centrally located Canaan to mediate between God and the nations. This mediatorial work was to be carried out through living according to the word God had given so that nations would take note of and desire to join in the blessing, wonder, and glory of life with and under his beneficient reign ( Isa 2:1-5 ; Micah 4:1-5 ).Israel’s initial purpose was not to witness verbally, but to exhibit the rich blessedness of covenantal life. The non-Israelite, drawn to Israel in this way, was expected to learn and submit to God’s revealed demands. Such was the case with Rahab (Joshua 2:9-13 ) ( Ruth 1:16-18 ),and Uriah ( 2 Samuel 11:6 2 Samuel 11:11 ). They were neither Hebrew nor Jew but became true citizens of Israel, God’s covenant people.
God called, elected, and declared that Israel as a people were to be a kingdom (Exod 19:6). Moses emphatically declared they were chosen because of no merit of their own. God chose Israel to be his covenant/kingdom people because he loved them with a gracious love (Deut 7:7). Israel, however, had its responsibilities placed before it. The people had to acknowledge and exhibit in the totality of their lives that God was their one and only King. No other gods were to be recognized as their sovereign ruler or as their source of life and its inclusive blessings. Israel was to know itself as a theocracy under the reign of God. As such they were called to be royal, loving, obedient, serving people.
Israel had the duty, according to God’s purposes, to demonstrate to itself, its children, its non-Israelite neighbors living within Canaan’s borders, and surrounding nations, how, as a redeemed, covenantal serving people, they should live as a theocratic kingdom. This could only be done by faithfully carrying out the three creation covenant mandates: the spiritual, the social, and the cultural.
The spiritual mandate called for loving fellowship with God and an adoring worship that would glorify the sovereign covenant Lord. Fellowship and worship were to be carried out in families (e.g., Passover, Exod 12) but particularly in the courts of the tabernacle and temple. The people, old and young, were to be called together, and as an assembly were to pay homage to their Lord. Means for the assembly’s worship were prescribed. The tabernacle and later the temple, giving symbolic and typological expression to the covenant promise, “I am your God, I am with you, ” was to be the central place of worship ( Deut 12:1-14 ).Moses later told the people they could assemble for worship around local altars at which priests officiated ( Deut 12:15-19 ).Yahweh provided the priesthood and the prescribed sacrifices to enable the assembly to worship as a devout kingdom people. Some sacrifices were to be offered daily ( Lev 6:1-8 ), other sat appropriate times (feasts or for specific situations); the Sabbath was to be the day of no work but to be the time of worship for the entire assembly. God repeatedly reminded his people that they were not to assemble around and worship other gods because he was a jealous Lord ( Deut4:15-24 ; 13:1-18 ).Nor were the people to worship as they saw fit ( Deut 12:8 ); they were to keep the basic principles for obeying and carrying out the spiritual mandate as these were stated in the first four command ments.
God called Israel as a covenant community to live and exhibit kingdom life to the world. Israel was to obey and carry out the creation covenant social mandate. Commandment 5-7 provided basic guidelines. Within the community, family life was to be fundamental; parents were to teach, train, and discipline their children (Deut 6:4-9; Psalm 78:1-8). Children were to respond to parents with honor and dignity. Marriage with noncovenant people was strictly forbidden (Deut 7:1-6). However, those who were not biological descendants of Abraham could be taken as mates if they became members of the Israelite community. Procreation was to be considered a divine ordinance for thus seed would come forth to continue covenantal service within the theocracy. Abuse of sexual potential was strictly forbidden as was adultery.
Israel as a holy nation was to exhibit the kingdom of God to the world by heeding and carrying out the creation covenant cultural mandate. Prerequisites were their activities as a worshiping assembly and their communal life expressed by their mutual love and joy in marriage, family, clan, and entire covenant community. God’s purpose for Israel as a holy nation was that they be totally separated from heathen practices spiritually, socially, and culturally and be consecrated to their sovereign Lord who had commanded “Be holy because I, the Lord your God, am holy” ( Lev 19:2 ). Israel, the holy nation, was to be organized politically. Yahweh was their sovereign King. Elder sand judges had to carry out administrative and judicial duties; priests had to assist particularly in regard to health laws.
Israel, to meet the challenge of being a holy, politically organized, governed, and law-abiding nation, was called to live separately among the nations. God gave them Canaan as their land, not first of all for their own advancement and enjoyment but to enable Israel to serve as the mediatorial nation in the midst of the nations. Each tribe and clan was given an inheritance from which they were to remove all Canaanite inhabitants so that they could live without unholy pressures and truly be free to live up to God’s purposes for them. Israel was promised prosperity but these material blessings were to be received as means to serve. Thus, as good stewards, they could develop and beautify their natural surroundings and with skill produce materials that would enhance the beauty of their environment. The tabernacle and temple were examples of highly developed cultural craftsmanship, to work out his purposes for the world under sin, God chose Israel to be his covenantal servants who were to live by faith and demonstrate it to the nations. Noah and Abraham exercised faith as did many others ( Heb 11 ). This faith included knowing the Lord, trusting in him, and living a life of courage and hope. This faith was inseparable from obedience to all of God’s revealed will. Through obedience Israel would exhibit to its offspring and neighbors what service to God entailed. Indeed, the life of faith, obedience, and service would fulfill the purposes God had in mind and revealed to them. In this way, Israel would serve mediatorially as a messianic people and in time bring forth the Messiah himself, receive and give to the world God’s inscripturated word, and show that the kingdom of God included all of life’s activities and relationships.
Israel’s Privileges. In the economy of God’s kingdom, privileges involve responsibilities. Israel, called and enabled to carry out God’s purposes, was given privileges commensurate and in correlation with the responsibilities given them. These privileges were many.
it was Israel’s privilege to represent and mirror the Sovereign of the cosmos to the nations. Israel’s privilege was to serve! Self-serving and self-aggrandizement were entirely contrary to the responsibilities and privileges given to the descendants of Jacob. The people, as an assembly, as a community, and as a nation, were never to consider themselves only as objects of God’s election, love, and providential goodness; they were to consider themselves basically as subjects called for the purpose of serving. In service according to God’s purposes, Israel would be honored by the privileges made available to them.
it was Israel’s privilege to be in a unique covenantal relationship with God. God, referring to himself as the Husband ( Jer 31:33 ) and Israel as his precious possession whom he had brought to himself, implied Israel was his bride ( Exod 19:4-6 ).This covenantal/spiritual marriage relationship was a bond of life and love God would not break. He would not divorce her though he would send her away for a time ( Isa 50:1 ). Israel had assured security in the love, goodness, and faithfulness of God.
Israel had unique access to God. God dwelt in the midst of his people. First by Moses and then via the priests, the people could come into the presence of God. He communed with them, receiving their sacrifices, praises, and prayers. He spoke to them directly, through his written Word read to the people, and by the prophets. In this intimate relationship, Israel could know the character of their God. He was sovereign and all-powerful; he declared and showed himself to be compassionate, gracious, patient, full of love, faithful, forgiving, righteous, and just ( Exod 34:6-7 ; Num 14:17-18 ; Psalm 103:8-13 ; Jonah 4:2-3 ).
it was Israel’s privilege to have a land and cultural blessings that God had prepared for them by Canaanite endeavors. It was a land with flourishing cities, houses filled with good things, wells providing water, productive vineyards, and fruitful orchards ( Deut6:10-12 ). This promised land was their inheritance to be possessed for service and not to be occupied for self-satisfaction and feelings of superiority. The land was never to be seen as a prize or as a possession without regard for the reasons that it was given: to be central among the nations so that the messianic light of God’s kingdom would shine out to all nations. In this land, then, Israel had the privilege of carrying out its spiritual, social, and cultural mandates. It was to be a place of rest, prosperity, security, and peace; Israel thus had the privilege of portraying to all nations what the redeemed and restored cosmos would be like. By its serene, serving life Israel could portray hope for a blessed future for peoples of all nations who joined them in faith, obedience, and service to God, thus bringing glory to the cosmic King.
within their promised land and to the nations beyond, Israel had the privilege of proclaiming, as no other could, that God reigned. This message was one of assurance for present and future times. The Sovereign God was in control and directed all the affairs of the cosmos, of the nations, and of individuals. Moses sang, “The Lord will reign forever and ever” ( Exod 15:18 ). The psalmists sang it (Psalm 93:1-2 ; 97:1 ; 99:1-5 ). The prophets proclaimed it to Israel (Isa 52:8) and to the nations ( Obadiah 1:1 Obadiah 1:21 ).
Israel was given promises concerning its continuation as a people. This privilege had the potential of breeding a false security that irrespective of circumstances, Israel as a nation could expect to endure throughout all ages. Inseparably involved, however, with this tremendous privilege was the demand that the people live by faith, obediently and in the service of God and his purposes concerning his enduring kingdom.
Israel’s Response. Biblical revelation records how Israel responded to its call to believe, obey, and serve God’s purposes for Jacob’s descendant’s and to the privileges given so that God’s purposes could be fulfilled. The account is a revelation of faithfulness, obedience, and service on the part of varying numbers of the people in various ways, and unfaithfulness, disobedience, and lack of service, often on the part of most of the people. God, however, remained faithful and steadfast in working out his kingdom, covenantal, and mediatorial plan. He did so by blessing, by withholding blessings, and by executing, in a mitigated way, the curse of the covenant. Israel was never completely destroyed as a community although it suffered severely when the warnings Moses had enunciated (Deut. 28-29) went unheeded. God humiliated Israel by bringing famines, hardships, military defeats, foreign oppressions, and eventually exile.
The tensions between covenantal living and violations of it were starkly present among Jacob’s twelve sons. Ten brothers sold Joseph into slavery and lied about his disappearance. Judah had sex with a woman he considered a prostitute (Gen 38) while Joseph refused the sexual temptations in Egypt. In spite of his humiliations he remained faithful and served his covenant Lord. Jacob referred to various other sins of his sons ( Genesis 49:4 Genesis 49:5 Genesis 49:17 Genesis 49:27 ).Yet in spite of Judah’s failings he was prophesied to be a forbear of the Messiah Israel was to bring into the world ( Gen 49:8-12 ). It was Joseph, richly blessed (Gen 49:22-26), who acknowledged God’s faithfulness and sovereign providential guidance ( Gen 50:19-20 ).
Israel as a growing community in Egypt suffered as slaves; there is little evidence of conscious obedience and service to Yahweh once Joseph had died, except for the midwives who spared Moses ( Exod 1 ).Ready to be freed as slaves under Moses’ leadership and spontaneous in vows to obey and serve Yahweh as a covenant community and nation ( Exod 19:8 ; Exodus 24:3 Exodus 24:7 ), Israel’s sons and daughters soon exhibited their fickleness and hankering for life in Egypt ( Exod 32:2-8 ).Moses’ intercession was heard and Israel was made to know that God was a faithful, covenant-keeping God whose jealously preserved his character and his people ( Exod 34:5-14 ).
Once Israel had received the tabernacle, the Aaronic priesthood, and the prescriptions for sacrifices and feasts, the people had every opportunity to be a believing, obeying, worshiping, serving community and theocratic nation. But there were murmurings and rebellions (Num 11:1; 12:1-2; 14:1-4 ; 16:1-3 ; 21:4-5 ); two of the twelve spies trusted in and honored God ( Num 13 ); ten did not. Nor did the nation as a whole. When under Moses and Joshua’s leadership the Transjordan was conquered, God had Moses reveal to the people that he, the covenant Sovereign of earth and heaven, called upon and demanded the people to love, obey, worship, and serve as a devout covenant people. Joshua, divinely ordained, was an effective military leader. Israel as a nation was given the promised land, cultivated, built up, and productive.
After Joshua’s death, the people repeatedly broke covenant with God. They were humiliated by military defeats and economic hardships. Ever faithful, God moved his people to acknowledge him by means of these hardships and provided leaders so that the people had freedom and prosperity again. Throughout the turbulent times of the judges, from Othniel to Samuel, God continued to work out his messianic purposes. The judges, Boaz and Ruth, and Samuel, the judge/prophet, stand out.
God’s faithfulness in regard to his messianic purposes and goals was dramatically revealed in the time of David and Solomon. David, a descendant of Judah, of the seedline of Abraham and Shem, was anointed and enthroned. David, the poet and prophet, in spite of his sins, was a man after God’s heart. He conquered and reigned over the entire territory God had promised to Abraham (2 Sam 8:1-14). His reign is described as just and right ( 2 Sam 8:15 ). The covenant was confirmed and expanded with specifics concerning covenant seed and an eternal dynasty (2 Sam7:1-28). His son Solomon carried out the plans David made for the temple and worship. Solomon exhibited wisdom ( 1 Kings 10:1-13 )and the splendor of the theocratic monarchy was unsurpassed ( 1 Kings 10:14-29 ).Psalm 72 expresses the glory of the messianic kingdom, as initially realized under David and Solomon and to be fully and finally realized under Jesus Christ.
The prophetic office served Yahweh’s purposes. Moses had been a prophet par excellence; Samuel fulfilled a key role in anointing David ( 1 Sam 16:13 ) and Nathan pronounced one of the most significant prophecies when he addressed David, assuring him that a descendant would reign, that David’s throne and kingdom would last forever. In this prophecy no reference is made to the nation of Israel itself but rather to the central person, David, and to his seed. Israel would provide the context, but the central thrust was on the house of David, his throne, and the kingdom God was to bring to ever fuller manifestation.
The high points, as exhibited in the covenant with David, his victories, his just and righteous reign, the wisdom of Solomon and grandeur of his throne and kingdom, were not maintained. God’s purposes did not diminish; the privileges given to the royal house of David were initially expanded. But Solomon in his later years and the majority of the Davidic dynasty did not remain faithful covenant and kingdom believers and obedient servants. A major part of the theocratic nation seceded and took the name”Israel.” The tribes of Judah, Simeon, and Benjamin constituted the ongoing environment in which God continued to work out his purposes. The low point came after Israel was deported into exile in 722 b.c. (2 Kings 17:21-23). A small remnant from Judah fled to Egypt ( Jer 41:16-18 ; 44:26 ).
The prophets continued to speak God’s words of both warning and promise. Judah particularly was repeatedly reminded that God’s kingdom and covenant would continue; the promise of the messianic mediator was repeated before (Isaiah and Micah) and during (Ezekiel and Daniel) the exile. The descendants of Jacob, the Israelite covenant community, whether in homeland or in exile, would continue so that God’s covenant promises concerning the conquering seed, as represented by the Davidic dynasty, and concerning his all-encompassing kingdom would in time be realized. Thus the nation of Israel was not the central focus; God’s purposes to be realized through Israel were. Israel, as a people, would bring in the Messiah.
After the exile, the descendants of Jacob, often referred to as Jews rather than Israelites, formed a social and religious community. The efforts to be a worshiping, called-out people were diminished by legalistic scribal and priestly activities and by various fanatic attempts that failed to transform the people living in Palestine into a nation again. Thus, while Israel as a nation no longer functioned, it did as a social and religious community. In that setting the ultimate purpose for Israel’s call and existence was fully realized in Jesus, even as God had purposed. Forty years, the same period of time Israel wandered in the desert, after Jesus ascended to reign over the kingdom, the Israelite community, temple, and sacrificial system were removed. The promise God made to Adam and Eve, repeated to Abraham, Judah, and David concerning the conquering, reigning Seed of the woman was fully kept. Israel, in spite of its repeated Acts of unbelief, disobedience, and rebellion, fulfilled the purposes for which God had called and prepared it.
Contemporary Issues Regarding Israel. The relationship of Israel to the Scriptures is definite. Both the Old and New Testaments were written by people who were known to be of Israelite nativity. The entire Bible is God’s gift to the world via the people of Israel—whether one wishes to refer to the Bible as Hebrew (Old Testament) and Jewish (New Testament). The fact remains, the entire Bible was given by God through the believing, obeying, and serving covenant community. Moses and the historical, poetic, wisdom, and prophetic writers were covenant servants; equally so were the New Testament evangelists, historical epistolary, and apocalyptic writers. Serious differences of views pertain, however, concerning the nature of the entire Bible. Is it a record of Israel’s origins, existence, and development as a nation? In other words, is the Bible a strictly human book or is it a divinely inspired book that has the message of divine creation, humanity’s fall, God’s redemptive and restorative program, and his enduring kingdom to and initially carried out largely by Israel? The biblical account is clear and definite: Israel was God’s instrument by which the Bible was given to the entire world.
The biblical record concerning Israel’s origin is clear. Scholars, working in the areas of Near Eastern archaeology and historical criticism have offered variant views. That Israel as a body of approximately two million people lived and served as slaves in Egypt is not accepted by many such scholars. That there is some evidence that a group of Semitic people lived and were enslaved in Egypt is generally accepted. But the manner and time of the dramatic exodus event are not accepted as historically or archaeologically verifiable. Likewise, the Sinai experience, the forty-year wandering in the wilderness, and the military conquest of Canaan have been seriously doubted. Alternate views are projected, such as a small group that escaped from slavery in Egypt, joining other groups, gradually infiltrated Canaan and took on many of its ways of life. The development of Israel as a nation has been seen as a gradual formation of a league of tribes of various origins. The evidence presented by archaeologists and historical critics has not been accepted by many scholars, particularly evangelical, conservative scholars. These scholars, however, have shown that archaeological and scientific historical studies do not contradict the biblical record but illumine it.
A third debated issue in relation to Israel, and closely related to the two already mentioned, is the origin and nature of Israel’s religion. Reference is made particularly to Israel’s beliefs, worship patterns, and practices. The Scriptures testify to Israel’s faith as revealed by God and its worship activities directed by him. With the aid of scholars who have studied Israel’s social structures and psychological attitudes, students of Israel’s surrounding nations and their religions have attempted to demonstrate that much of what Israel practiced religiously was adopted from those of the peoples around them. Israel did not live in isolation from its neighbors; it had various religious practices that were outwardly similar, such as portable shrines, systems of sacrifice, and religious objects such as altars. Israel’s religion was unique, however, in origin and practice. God revealed himself directly to Abraham, as he had done to Adam and Noah. He especially revealed himself as a covenant Lord to them and this covenantal relationship with all its ramifications and implications was explicated in detail by God through his appointed mediatorial agents. Israel’s faith and religious life and activities had their origin in revelation, not in borrowing or in religious perceptions. It must be added, however, that Israel was not always faithful to their sovereign covenant Lord. There was much vacillation in its loyalty to him and there is much evidence of disobedience as exhibited in Israel’s following of their neighbors’ detestable idolatrous practices.
Much discussion is involved in the issue of Israel and the land. That God promised Abraham and his progeny a land as their possession cannot be doubted. But did God unconditionally promise that it would be an eternal possession? Many evangelical Christians believe this is the case; they speak of the Palestinian covenant on the basis of their interpretation of Deuteronomy 28. Other equally sincere evangelical biblical students point to five important qualifying factors. First, Moses emphatically stated that obedience was a basic requirement to inherit the land and to remain blessed possessors ( Deut 4:25-31 ; 28:15-68 ).Second, the term translated “everlasting” is often translated correctly”for a long time, ” “for ages.” The term cannot mean eternal, in the sense of never-ending, for at the Lord’s return at the end of time, the order of the renewed heavens and earth will be ushered in. Third, God fulfilled his promises regarding the land and its extent at the time of David and Solomon ( 2 Sam 8:1-4 ; 1 Chron 18:1-13 ; 1 Kings 4:20-21 ; Psalm 72:8 ).Fourth, the prophetic promise of a return to the land after the exile was fulfilled when a remnant returned (Ezra 2). Fifth, the New Testament does not refer to Israel as a nation possessing the land forever; rather, it speaks of Abraham’s believing covenant offspring inheriting the world (Rom4:13).
Another issue concerns the interpretation of prophecies concerning Israel. This issue is closely related to Israel’s relationship to the land, the church, and the millennium (Rev 20). The following factors must be kept in mind. The prophets spoke of a future for Israel. They did not, however, always refer to Israel as a political entity, an organized nation. The concept of the remnant is dominant, particularly of Israel as a believing covenant community. Furthermore, when the prophets spoke to their contemporaries, they did so in terms the people at that time understood. Hence, when prophets spoke of the wonderful future of Yahweh’s covenant people, they did so in simple urban, pastoral, agricultural, and natural (nature) terms ( Isa 35 ).Strict literal interpretation, often controlled by certain presuppositions regarding Israel as a political, national entity, must be used very discretely if not completely avoided.
Multitudes of nations or a company of nations,
this includes the Gentiles or heathen
Because Israel is one nation of twelve Tribes
Another specific issue concerns the relationship of Israel and the New Testament church. On the basis of a too literal interpretation of Old Testament prophecies concerning Israel and maintaining the view that New Testament writers referred to a politically organized national entity rather than to the believing covenant community, a strict separation is posited between Israel as a nation and the non-Jewish New Testament covenant community of believers, the church. It is believed that God has two distinct people in mind with a distinctly separate program for each. Many biblical scholars have difficulties with this separation. Some of the points stated in preceding paragraphs should be kept in mind. Moreover, Jesus never spoke of Israel’s continuation as a politically separate religiously oriented nation; rather, he spoke of God’s all-encompassing kingdom. And while it is true Paul spoke of his ethnic people as”the people of Israel” ( Rom 9:3-5 ), he spoke of all true believers in Jesus Christ as Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise made to Abraham’s descendants ( Gal 3:28 ).
The multitudes of nations which includes the heathen or the Gentiles
All who believe in Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour are the multitudes of nations spoken by God to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, Genesis 12, 24, 17, 26, 27, 35 chapters
Abraham whom God chose for a special divine purpose. Those defendants of Abraham not fittings into God’s special plans are soon dropped from discussion. Eleven times the phrase “These are the generations of” is used to mark eleven major sections of the book. The five principles persons dealt with are Adam, Noah, Abraham through whom God brought the multitudes of nations that is the Gentiles Genesis 17.Then Isaac and Jacob whom God told to be the father of many nations that included the Gentiles, the heathens even though the Gentiles were not mentioned at the time. Israel is one nation plus the Gentiles nations. The Israel of God compromised the Israelis on one nation and the Gentiles or heathens of multitudes of many nations according to the blessings that God blessed our father Abraham. All along, God Almighty had allocated places in the promised blessings with the one nation Israel. Little did Abraham, Isaac and Jacob knew that they were carrying the Gentiles or heathen with them in bearing the big-name Israel of the Gentiles or heathen.
He also wrote of all
A company of nations the Gentiles or the heathen, the blessings that God poured upon Jacob
12 Tribes of Israel (one nation including multitudes of nations
Gentiles the Other part of the multitudes of Nations
How did this come about.? Well out of the twelve tribes of Israel, God chose Judah the fourth born of Leah the wife of Jacob the son of Isaac the son of Abraham the Hebrews.
🙏. Mary (mother of Jesus
Jesus Christ the Son of Mary the cousin of Elizabeth wife of Zechariah the priest father of John the Baptist Luke 1.5 and 1.36
The word cousin in Greek means relative implies strong one who is of the same kin, related by blood or in a wider sense of the same race. It is a compound word with a preposition implying some kind of sharing and a root implying race or blood relationships. Common usage at the time included descendants of a common ancestor relatives in the same family or members of same race or people. This is the root of the word genus and genetic in English. Mary mother of Jesus Christ is not simply a distant cousin or relative by marriage to Elizabeth the mother of John the Baptist, but a blood relative, so definitely Mary must be a descendant of Aaron the first priest and a Levite. And through Mary, Jesus Christ her son is the lineage of Aaron which the bible did not go further than that Mary his mother was the cousin of Elizabeth the wife of Zachariah the priest who was the father of John the Baptist.

His Ministry
His death as an atonement for the sins of the whole world. This death of Jesus Christ brought the blessings that God pour upon Abraham, Isaac and Job as 1. Multitudes of nations; company of nations, many nations and all the nations of the earth. These are the roots of God’s bringing the Gentiles or heathen into the covenant that God made with Abraham. This part of the covenant, Christians do not talk about it at all, yet it is the fundamental of the churches of Jesus Christ. This makes the churches equality with the one nation of Israel. Multitudes, many nations and a company of nations added to the one nation of Israel. This had been the plan, pattered and purposed of the Almighty God before the foundation of the world. This is what Christ Jesus was saying in the gospel of
Mathew26-26-29
26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.
27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink ye all of it.
28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.
29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.
The shedding of His blood the shedding of Christ’s blood brought the marriage of the one nation Israel to the multitudes of nations known as the Gentiles or heathen to one body of Christ. The church of Jesus Christ. Paul said no Jew or Gentile all the nations who accept Christ is now Israel of God according to the blessings of God upon Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
After reading the above epistles, you will see that God the master planner had made the word “Israel” which means “a company of nations” or “multitudes of nations” which included the one nation “Israel” and “the Gentiles or heathen”. This company of nations or multitudes of nations is what Jesus Christ called “CHURCH”
Mathew 16.18
18 And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock “I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it”.
This words of Christ sumerises the true meaning of Jews or Hebrews and Gentiles or heathen as from one root, Abram, Isaac and Jacob who received the blessings. And these two groups of people must accept Jesus Christ as their Saviour before they can become the body of Christ still under the name ISRAEL, the twelve Tribes of Written on the twelve gates of the new Jerusalem that will come down from Heaven the bride of Christ.
Interlude: The story of Joseph and how Jacob went down to Egypt, Genesis chapters 37-48
Jacob bestowed blessings upon his twelve sons thus:
🙏 How Judah became focal point in the history of Christ
8 Judah, thou art he whom thy brethren shall praise: thy hand shall be in the neck of thine enemies; thy father’s children shall bow down before thee.
9 Judah is a lion’s whelp: from the prey, my son, thou art gone up: he stooped down, he couched as a lion, and as an old lion; who shall rouse him up?
10 The sceptre shall not depart from Judah, nor a lawgiver from between his feet, until Shiloh come; and unto him shall the gathering of the people be.
11 Binding his foal unto the vine, and his ass’s colt unto the choice vine; he washed his garments in wine, and his clothes in the blood of grapes:
12 His eyes shall be red with wine, and his teeth white with milk
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,
52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.
The two verses above show you the redeemed of the Lord Jesus Christ or those that will be raptured which are converted Jews or Hebrews and the converted Gentiles or heathen together as the body of Christ or the church of Christ.
Dear reader or saints of Christ or the one and only church of Christ, if you are not in tune with this book , or you continue to say that the church will be raptured before the nation of Israel, this is nothing but heresy, please think again and ask the Holy Spirit to enlighten you. The theory that some preachers are preaching about the twenty-four elders as 12 for the Old Testament and 12 for the New Testament is human knowledge and heresy and imagination. Is not in the bible from Genesis to revelation. The church is the body of Christ and cannot be divided.
Thank you and God bless you.

🙏. How God works of salvation from Genesis 3.15 ended as New Jerusalem with the twelve Tribes of Israel written on its twelve gates
Now dear readers, you can see how God Almighty brought out His plans, patterns and purposes of His work of Salvation from Genesis 3.15 to the book of revelation where the finality of the whole thing came to fruition. That the Israel of many nations or a company of nations or multitudes of nations is for Hebrews or Jews and Gentiles or heathen that have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour. Which Christ calls His church
He emphatically stressed that I would build my church and the gate of hell shall not prevail against it. The church of Christ in one known also as the body of Christ or saints. Please read

And he said unto me, write for these words are true and faithful.
10 And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God,
11 Having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal.
17 And he measured the wall thereof, a hundred and forty and four cubits, according to the measure of a man, that is, of the angel.
18 And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass.
19 And the foundations of the wall of the city were garnished with all manner of precious stones. The first foundation was jasper; the second, sapphire; the third, a chalcedony; the fourth, an emerald;
I by the power of the Holy Spirit will conclude with the book chapter 14 of the book of Zechariah
Many scholars have tried to unfold this chapter in so many interpretations, but none is near what the chapter denotes.
1. When we look into the event, we can see that most of the events mentioned in the chapter can be related to the events which gradually extend from the death of our Lord Jesus Christ to the glorious days of the 1000 years reign with His saints during the time when Satan will be cast into the bottomless pit for a thousand years of the evil beast called the dragon.
2. The destruction of Jerusalem by the evil Romans that was predicted by our Lord Jesus Christ before His death. We know that the armies of Rome were composed of many nations
3. This destruction of Jerusalem happened exactly on the Sabbath day which was then the day of the Lord
4. He will eventually destroy all those nations who would not have Him reign over them.
5. The subversion of the Roman Empires after being the executioners of the divine vengeance on the Jews, by God’s stirring up the barbarous nations to invade Jerusalem, by the promulgation of Gospel
6. The rebuilding and replenishing of Jerusalem
7. The destruction of the nations who shall fight against Jerusalem
8. The conversion of the remnants of those nations to the Lord
9. The peace and purity of the universal church in the later days
Cloud and darkness must cover the brightness of the throne of God, till it pleased Him to enable us to bear the brighter beams of His glory
In the meantime, we trace His footsteps in the sea of the Gentiles world, His path in the mighty waters of ambitions and clashing passions of man
We rejoice to anticipate the day, when the bondage of Rome which would perpetuate the intellectual and spiritual slavery of mam, shall be overthrown, and the day spring of United knowledge and holiness bless the world by

I will now talk about the genealogy of Jesus Christ from our father Abraham again so that it will be understood the works of God’s salvation before the foundation of the world what is meant by the “Israel”
1 The book of the generation of Jesus Christ, the son of David, the son of Abraham.
2 Abraham begat Isaac; and Isaac begat Jacob; and Jacob begat Judas and his brethren.
3 And Judas begat Phares and Zara of Thamar; and Phares begat Esrom; and Esrom begat Aram.
4 And Aram begat Aminadab; and Aminadab begat Naasson; and Naasson begat Salmon.
5 And Salmon begat Booz of Rachab; and Booz begat Obed of Ruth; and Obed begat Jesse.
6 And Jesse begat David the king; and David the king begat Solomon of her that had been the wife of Urias.
7 And Solomon begat Roboam; and Roboam begat Abia; and Abia begat Asa.
8 And Asa begat Josaphat; and Josaphat begat Joram; and Joram begat Ozias.
9 And Ozias begat Joatham; and Joatham begat Achaz; and Achaz begat Ezekias.

13 And Zorobabel begat Abiud; and Abiud begat Eliakim; and Eliakim begat Azor.

Now the Israel in the new Jerusalem, comprises of the one nation Israel known as Hebrews or Jews and multitudes of nations or a company of nations who are the Gentiles or heathen converts of Christ.
Who are the people inside the new Jerusalem?
9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the “saints” about, and the beloved city: and fire
came down from God out of heaven and devoured them.
According to this verse above, the saints are all the redeemed of Jesus Christ from the four corners of the world both the Hebrews or Jews and the Gentiles or heathen called the many nations or a company of nations, the blessings that a God bestowed upon
Abraham Genesis 17.16; 18.18; 22.18
Isaac Genesis 26.
Jacob Genesis 35.11
I therefore conclude that the one body or Church of Christ is one known as many nations or a company of nations or multitudes of nations or Israel and the “caught up” to meet Christ in the air or clouds is one action by Christ Himself. The word Israel is the name that was written on the gates of the new Jerusalem where “all” the saints or “believers” in Christ will be for eternity Now let us see what a church is in her actual meaning
“Ecclesia” or “a call out” or “selected” “ordained” or “Church” or “body of Christ” “assembly” or “a gathering of people”
Ecclesia is a Greek word meaning assembly
Acts 7.38; 8.1; 8.3.
I conclude with the diagrams bellow
