In all the numerous meanings given to the meaning of the word “Patron,” I can see the wider use of the world that relates to the things of the world, but when it comes to the church of Christ, Christ is the only patron of His churches all over the world. Christ founded His church on a rock which is Jesus Christ Himself. The sole owner of His church and the only one that supplies all the needs of His church. According to the bible, Jesus is the one and only patron of His church and that due should be given to Him, who suffered shame, beatings, insults, and was put in the category of a malefactor, and went through the worst pains ever known to human beings, who broken His body, died and shed His precious blood for the remission of our sins. The word patron should not be used as the does, where some churches attributed the word patron to some of the apostles, like Saint Peter and Paul church, Methodist church, Baptist church, the church of England, West African church, the church of the latter day’s saints, Kingsway church, saint Nicolas church, presbytery church, All Saints church, Christ Apostolic Church, Roman Catholic church and many more names that people use are not right. Nobody on the planet earth can attribute the church of Jesus Christ to any other name. The church belongs to Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ says in Mathew 16:18 And Isay also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock, I will build my church: and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. According to the bible in the book of revelation, chapters 2 &3 says:

22 : 1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things saith he that holdeth the seven stars in his right hand, who walketh in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;  22 I know thy works, and thy labour, and thy patience, and how thou canst not bear them which are evil: and thou hast tried them which say they are apostles and are not, and hast found them liars:  2: 3 And hast borne, and hast patience, and for my name’s sake hast laboured, and hast not fainted.2 : 4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee because thou hast left thy first love.2 : 5 Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent.2 : 6 But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.2 : 7 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.2 : 8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things saith the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;  29 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.2 : 10 Fear none of those things which thou shalt suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that ye may be tried; and ye shall have tribulation ten days: be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.2 : 11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.2 : 12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges;  213 I know thy works, and where thou dwellest, even where Satan’s seat is: and thou holdest fast my name, and hast not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwelleth.2 : 14 But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.2 : 15 So hast thou also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.2 : 16 Repent; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.2 : 17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna and will give him a white stone and in the stone, a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.2 : 18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;  219 I know thy works, and charity, and service, and faith, and thy patience, and thy works; and the last to be more than the first.2 : 20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against thee, because thou sufferest that woman Jezebel, which calleth herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.2 : 21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.2 : 22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.2 : 23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searcheth the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.2 : 24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you none other burden.2 : 25 But that which ye have already hold fast till I come.2 : 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:  227 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.2 : 28 And I will give him the morning star.2 : 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

33 : 1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things saith he that hath the seven Spirits of God, and the seven stars; I know thy works, that thou hast a name that thou livest, and art dead.3 : 2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found thy works perfect before God.3 : 3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.3 : 4 Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.3 : 5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.3 : 6 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.3 : 7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things saith he that is holy, he that is true, he that hath the key of David, he that openeth, and no man shutteth; and shutteth, and no man openeth;  38 I know thy works: behold, I have set before thee an open door, and no man can shut it: for thou hast a little strength, and hast kept my word, and hast not denied my name.3 : 9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.3 : 10 Because thou hast kept the word of my patience, I also will keep thee from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.3 : 11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which thou hast, that no man take thy crown.3 : 12 Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which cometh down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.3 : 13 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.3 : 14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;  315 I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.3 : 16 So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.3 : 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:  318 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.3 : 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.3 : 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.3 : 21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.3 : 22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches

One can see from the above that the church of Jesus Christ was not named after anything else.
Acts 13:1
1
Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.

Acts 15:4
4
And when they came to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

Now you are Christ’s body, and individually members of it.

Romans 12:4-5
For just as we have many members in one body and all the members do not have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.

1 Corinthians 12:12

For even as the body is one and yet has many members, and all the members of the body, though they are many, are one body, so also is Christ.

Ephesians 4:4

There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling;

(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?)

1st Timothy 15
15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

Colossians 1:18

He is also head of the body, the church; and He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that He Himself will come to have first place in everything.

Ephesians 1:22

And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church,

1st Thessalonians 1: 1 & 2

The Gospel According to Saint John

John 11: 1, In the beginning, was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.1: 2 The same was at the beginning with God.1 : 3 All things were made by him, and without him was not anything made that was made.14 In him was life; and the life was the light of men.1 : 5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.1 : 6 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.1 : 7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.1 : 8 He was not that Light but was sent to bear witness of that Light.1: 9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.1: 10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.1 : 11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.1 : 12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:  113 Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.1 : 14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.1 : 15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.1 : 16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.1 : 17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.1 : 18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.1 : 19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?  120 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.1 : 21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.1 : 22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?  123 He said, I am the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias.1 : 24 And they which were sent were of the Pharisees.1 : 25 And they asked him, and said unto him, Why baptizest thou then, if thou be not that Christ, nor Elias, neither that prophet?  126 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;  127 He it is, who coming after me is preferred before me, whose shoe’s latchet I am not worthy to unloose.1 : 28 These things were done in Bethabara beyond Jordan, where John was baptizing.1 : 29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.1 : 30 This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.1 : 31 And I knew him not: but that he should be made manifest to Israel, therefore am I come baptizing with water.1 : 32 And John bare record, saying, I saw the Spirit descending from heaven like a dove, and it abode upon him.1 : 33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.1 : 34 And I saw, and bare record that this is the Son of God.1 : 35 Again the next day after John stood, and two of his disciples;  136 And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith, Behold the Lamb of God!  137 And the two disciples heard him speak, and they followed Jesus.1 : 38 Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? They said unto him, Rabbi, (which is to say, being interpreted, Master,) where dwellest thou?  139 He saith unto them, Come and see. They came and saw where he dwelt, and abode with him that day: for it was about the tenth hour.1 : 40 One of the two which heard John speak, and followed him, was Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother.1 : 41 He first findeth his own brother Simon, and saith unto him, We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.1 : 42 And he brought him to Jesus. And when Jesus beheld him, he said, Thou art Simon the son of Jona: thou shalt be called Cephas, which is by interpretation, A stone.1 : 43 The day following Jesus would go forth into Galilee, and findeth Philip, and saith unto him, Follow me.1 : 44 Now Philip was of Bethsaida, the city of Andrew and Peter.1 : 45 Philip findeth Nathanael, and saith unto him, We have found him, of whom Moses in the law, and the prophets, did write, Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.1 : 46 And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see.1 : 47 Jesus saw Nathanael coming to him, and saith of him, Behold an Israelite indeed, in whom is no guile!  148 Nathanael saith unto him, Whence knowest thou me? Jesus answered and said unto him, Before that Philip called thee, when thou wast under the fig tree, I saw thee.1 : 49 Nathanael answered and saith unto him, Rabbi, thou art the Son of God; thou art the King of Israel.1 : 50 Jesus answered and said unto him, Because I said unto thee, I saw thee under the fig tree, believest thou? thou shalt see greater things than these.1 : 51 And he saith unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending

It is a very sad thing to call anybody on this planet earth patron of either of a continent, countries, towns, or villages or church of Jesus Christ.
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Jesus Christ created all things vissible and invissible and thatmade HIM the owner who only can patronise what He made.

14 The LORD upholdeth all that fall, and raiseth up all those that be bowed down.145 : 15 The eyes of all wait upon thee; and thou givest them their meat in due season.145 : 16 Thou openest thine hand, and satisfiest the desire of every living thing.

Firstly, let us know and understand the word Patron

Topical Bible: Patronhttps://biblehub.com › topical › patron1. (n.) One who protects, supports, or countenances; a defender.
According to the bible, I think that these three words the biblical meaning of Jesus Christ position as the only patron of all things in the whole world.

This word has been misused by many Christians in a worldly way. In so much that many churches choose anyone, person to be the patron of some churches.

All those people who made human beings the patron saints of the churches of Jesus Christ, whether the apostles, angels, or any mankind, none of them can patronize the church of Christ. How can believers in Jesus Christ succumb to celebrating Saint Patrick as the patron saint of Ireland? The word of God says “ Psalm 127.1 Except the Lord build the house, they labor in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the City, the watchman wake but in vain. Peter and Paul patrons saints of what? Saint Andrew as the patron saint of England, The word of God says: “ Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the City, the watchman wake but in vain” Jesus Christ is the master builder of His church, which is His house. Saint Nicholas, all these people cannot patronise the churches of Christ. Only Jesus Christ is the one and only patron of His churches. He died for His churches to wash away their sins with His precious blood, He gave His churches Salvation which no man can give, provided, cared, watch over, bless, heals, nourishes, and the entrance for His church, the canopy for His churches, the shepherd of His church. The world has put themselves in the position of God to make human beings, cities, towns, countries the owners of the church of Christ, well, the papacy started it and all believers in Christ fall victims. Do not give the glory of God to any human beings or graven images. Isaiah 42.8, I am the LORD: that is my name: and My glory will I not give to another, neither My praise to graven images. All fake miracles workers in the churches of Christ, the false preachers, false leaders, the robbers of the churches of Christ, all those who set up fake delivering ministries, or fake deliverance ministries and their pastors, When you are in Christ, all things are passed away, you become a new creature. Mary Magdalene was delivered from seven evil spirits when she was not a disciple of Christ, she became a disciple of Jesus Christ and she was also the first evangelist to give the good news of the resurrection of Christ to the apostles. To you, the ravening wolves and the money mongers who have turned the churches of Christ into “supermarkets,” “buy one get one free.” The churches of Christ have they turned to “book shops,” to the extent that the bibles, are not read and studied as they should be. Authors of unending books that turned believers from searching deep into the bible, by the power of the Holy Spirit, the word of God. Ah Jesus Christ, what have we turned your church to, to human owned churches all over the world
