Expository of Chapter 6 of the Book of Revelation

Opening of the First Seal
The first opening of the seal reveals our Lord Jesus Christ, wearing a crown and riding a white horse, conquering and destined to conquer. He goes out to bring peace to His saints and to declare that His vengeance is coming upon the whole world.
Protection of the Saints
He promises to protect His saints, just as He did for the Israelites in Egypt when He sent Moses to instruct them to kill a lamb and mark their houses with its blood, so the angel of destruction would pass over them. This time, the Almighty Christ Jesus goes forth to bring peace and safeguard His saints.
