John 14.15. If ye love me, keep my commandments.
The word “keep” in the sentence above or anywhere in this article means “obey”. These are some of the bible languages as far as the sentences are concerned here. It can also mean to retain, depending on the usage.
To practice; to do or perform; to obey; to observe in practice; not to neglect or violate; as, to keep the laws, statutes or commandments of God.
The Commandments of God’s are God’s words, and God is His own word. The word of God is God’s. We human beings do not actually know the power of God in a word. Whatever you say is you. That is you are the word you say. That word is the breathe of God in you, that makes you a living soul.

Genesis 1.7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
The bible makes us to know this in the gospel of John 1.1:
In the beginning was the word, the word was with God, the word was God.
The word that we speak is a spirit and it is life. Jesus Christ made us to know this in the gospel of John 6.63.
63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.
That is why it is of utmost important to obey God by keeping all His Commandments. They are God’s words and the words are God.
Our earthly fathers and mothers can tell us something that they think are right and good for our daily lives. We have choices, either to obey their words or disobey them. The choices are ours. Sometimes, we do disobey some of the good things that our parents tell us to do, then we get into difficulties, into wrong friendships, relationships, marriages, businesses, schools, colleges and universities.
In many cases into cults and and many things that are not of God. We get into violence and into wrong groups or evil gangs. Sometimes to wrong jobs , wrong careers. But from bad experiences, we learn to obey our parents. Many at times our parents tell us to do something that they think are right or good for us, but the things became bad and we regret obeying our parents. These do not make our parents bad or that they intended to wrong us or make us to do bad things.
