Jesus Christ the creator of heaven and earth instituted the seven day Sabbath in Genesis 2.1-3 for His plans, patterned and future purposes.
1 Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
2 And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested or ceased from all his work which God created and made.
God/ Jesus Christ was not tired when it says that He rested, He made His Creatures know that they need to rest from their own works and give the creator one day to have one to one communion with Him.
But alas! the world rejected it. God who is a planner, will surely make His plan work at His appointed time. The purposes of God cannot be destroyed. He had planned, patterned and He will purpose.
When God says “Yes” nobody can say “No”. This 7th day that Satan made the whole creations of God reject was what God brought back through the Israelites when He gave the Ten Commandments to Moses and He emphasized with the word “REMEMBER” the Sabbath day to keep it holy.
One can see that when God planned, nothing can stop it to materialise. plan, pattern, and the future purpose of the 7th day Sabbath that He will make mandated at His appointed time.
Jesus Christ made reference to the 7th day Sabbath in the Gospel of Mark 27 & 28

The beginning of the journey of salvation through Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Genesis 3.15
15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Jesus Christ started the work of His salvation from His creations of Adam and Eve. Genesis 3.15.
According to the scriptures, Jesus Christ was the “seed” from Adam and Eve. This is the truth of salvation and the begging of the librations of the sinful mankind from the kingdoms is Satan, the everlasting perpetrator of all evils.
Jesus Christ spoke to Moses in the burning bush in Exodus 3.2-22. How do we know this? Gospel of John chapter 8.56-58.
