Our Statement of Faith

Please note that by observing the feasts of the Lord, there are no more ceremonial rituals because Jesus Christ had nailed them to the cross through His blood. Please read Hebrews 10:1-39.

The church believes in one God as stated in the book of Isaiah 43:10:

“I am He: before Me there was no God formed, neither shall there be after Me.”

Verse 11

“I, even I, am the Lord; and besides Me there is no saviour.”

God Appearing as Man Before Jesus Christ. We believe according to the Bible that the One and only God has been coming to the world as a man before He came as Jesus Christ, as Emmanuel (Isaiah 7:14), thus:

  • Genesis 3:8 – “And they heard the voice of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day.”

  • Genesis 14:18–20; Chapter 18:1 to the end

  • Joshua 5:13–15 – He came as captain of His own army

  • Judges 13:12–23 – He came to Manoah and his wife

  • Ezekiel 1:1 to the end, especially verse 26

  • John 1:1 and verse 14

  • Revelation 1:11–18

There are many more facts in the Bible that God has been coming to the world before He came as Jesus Christ.

Obedience and the Ten Commandments without ceremonial laws

The church believes in full obedience to all the Ten Commandments written on our hearts for the working of the church as stated in the book of Exodus 20.

The New Year and the Feasts of GodThe church believes in the New Year as stated in the book of Exodus 12:1–2; 13:4, and in all the feasts of God as stated in Leviticus 23 for the materialisation of the permanent plans, patterns, and purposes of God to set apart all His saints from the world (Exodus 19:5–6; John 17:16).

Scriptural Authority and Salvation

The church believes in:

  • The divine inspiration of the Holy Scripture and its consequent trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as our Lord and Saviour.

  • The sinfulness and guilt of fallen man, making him subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

  • The substitution sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God as the sole and all-sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin and from its consequences.

  • The justification of the sinner solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified, dead and buried, who shed His precious blood for the remission of our sins and risen from the dead by the power of God Almighty.

  • The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling, and sanctifying work of God the Holy Spirit.

  • The priesthood of all believers who form the church known as the Body of Christ, of which Christ is the head and which is committed by His command to the proclamation of the gospel throughout the whole world.

Doctrinal Beliefs

  • The expectation of the personal visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in power and glory.

  • The unity of the Godhead and the power represented therein.

  • The utter depravity of human nature, the necessity for repentance and regeneration, and the eternal doom of the unrepentant.

  • The virgin birth, sinless life, atoning death, triumphant resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ, His second coming, and the one thousand millennial reign on earth.

  • Justification and sanctification of the believers through the finished work of Christ by the breaking of His body and the shedding of His blood for the remission of our sins.

Spiritual Practices and Observances

  • The baptism of the Holy Spirit for believers, with signs and wonders following.

  • All the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification, exhortation, and comfort of the church, which is known as the Body of Christ.

  • Observance of the Lord’s feast days to be holy convocations. Without any ceremonial laws, which Christ had nailed to the cross through His blood

  • God’s New Year to be the beginning of the year and the first month of the year for His churches.

  • God’s Ten Commandments where the 7th day Sabbath is, which are the Lord Jesus Christ Himself – blessed, hallowed, put in our minds and written on our hearts – separated from the dross of the ceremonial laws through the blood of Jesus Christ.

Scriptural Foundation

All these are the sure spoken words of our Lord Jesus Christ:

  • John 1:1 – “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”

  • John 6:63 – “It is the Spirit that quickeneth, the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are Spirit, and they are life.”

  • Isaiah 55:11 – “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void…”

  • John 17:17 – “Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.”

  • Malachi 3:6 – “I am God, I change not.”

Church Ordinances and Leadership

  • The baptism by immersion

  • The institution of the Lord’s Supper

  • Divine inspiration and authority of the Holy Scriptures
