Instead of saying “lead us not into temptation,” the new version now reads: “do not let us fall into temptation.”
The change was made to remove the suggestion that God might lead people into temptation.
The new wording was approved by the general assembly of the Episcopal Conference of Italy last month and will be included in the third edition of the Messale Romano, the Catholic Church’s liturgical book for Mass.
This follows Pope Francis’s 2017 statement in which he said he believed the original wording should be changed.
How POPE FRANCIS CHANGED GOD’S WORDS IN OUR LORD’S PRAYER
In 2017, Pope Francis—whom I believe to be an evil pontiff—approved changing the traditional wording of the Lord’s Prayer in Italian from “lead us not into temptation” to “do not let us fall into temptation.” He claimed the original was based on a flawed translation.
But what a lie. Pope Francis seems to forget that it was the Popes themselves who instructed the early Church fathers to compile the Bible. They were the ones who added to, took away from, and misinterpreted God’s Word. So if the translation is flawed, it’s their own doing. This is not just a recent problem—Pope Francis is simply continuing the pattern of lies and deception established by those before him.
He even suggested that God would lead people into temptation. That’s not true at all. God does not tempt anyone. It’s clearly more accurate to say, “Do not lead us into temptation,” but the fact that Francis felt the need to make this change – under the influence of Satan, I believe—shows just how far the Papacy has gone in distorting Scripture.
This manipulation of God’s Word is blasphemy. For centuries, the Popes have altered the Bible to suit their own agenda. They’ve made changes as they please, ignoring the holiness and truth of God’s Word.
The Lord Jesus Christ has now put an eternal end to this deception. He has called His saints to stop worshipping the Papacy and to abandon Sunday worship, which, according to Revelation 18:4, is part of the corrupt system. “Come out of her, my people,” the Lord warns, so that His people do not share in her sins or receive her plagues.
Sunday worship, imposed by Linus – the first Bishop of Rome and a figure I believe was deeply corrupt – is now condemned by God. Revelation 13:5–18 and Revelation 16:10 reveal that this system is connected to the mark of the beast and the kingdom of Satan. The law of Sunday worship has been abolished by the Lord Almighty. It is no longer binding on His true Church.
