- Biblical Truth: Jesus Christ Did Not Found the Roman Catholic Church
The greatest lie told by the antichrists and their churches is the claim that Peter, one of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ, was the first Pope of the Roman Catholic Church. This falsehood remains one of the most persistent and damaging deceptions in church history. The antichrists continue to uphold this lie even today.
The Roman Catholic Church was not founded by Peter. Instead, Linus, the bishop of Rome, was the first to break away from the true Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, as explained in this article. These antichrists are known for distorting truth and misleading many.
Peter’s True Role
Apostle Peter served faithfully and died for his belief in Jesus Christ. The Scriptures give clear evidence of his devotion. When Peter was first introduced to Jesus by his brother Andrew, the Gospel of John records the event:
John 1:29–42 (Selected Verses)
John saw Jesus coming and said, “Behold the Lamb of God, who takes away the sin of the world.”
…
Andrew, Simon Peter’s brother, was one of the two who heard John and followed Jesus. He found his brother Simon and said, “We have found the Messiah.”
He brought him to Jesus. When Jesus looked at him, He said, “You are Simon, the son of Jonah. You shall be called Cephas” (which means stone).
This naming is crucial. The word Cephas (Aramaic for “stone”) does not mean rock in the sense of a foundational cornerstone, but rather a small stone or pebble. The antichrists twisted Matthew 16:18, where Jesus said:
Matthew 16:18
“And I say also unto thee, that thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my Church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.”
They falsely claimed that Peter himself was the rock upon which the Roman Catholic Church was built. But in John 1:42, it’s clear that Jesus surnamed Peter as Cephas, a stone—not the foundation.
Furthermore, Peter did not die on the cross for the salvation of the world. That role belongs solely to Jesus Christ. Yet the antichrists promote this false narrative to deceive both their churches and the wider world. Their intention has always been to obscure the truth and promote doctrines not grounded in Scripture.

These popes served during times of intense persecution. Many were martyred for their faith before Christianity was legalized by Constantine through the Edict of Milan in 313 AD.
Conclusion
The idea that Peter was the first Pope is a deliberate distortion of Scripture and history. The title of “Pope” began with Linus, not Peter. The antichrists have long misused Scripture to support their agenda, but the truth of our Lord Jesus Christ will always prevail. Their false doctrines are now exposed for what they are, and the faithful can recognize them for the deceivers they have always been.

The World’s Rulers Before Babylon and the Lord’s Explanation of How the Antichrist Became the Eighth King in Revelation 17:9–11
1. Rulers Before Babylon
Before Babylon rose to global power, several empires had influence, though not all ruled the world completely. Among the earliest were:
-
Akkadian Empire – Considered the first to rule the known world
-
Sumerian Empire
-
Assyrian Empire
-
Hittite Empire
While these empires were influential, only those mentioned in Daniel chapters 2 and 7 align with the prophetic vision of world-dominating powers.
2. The Prophetic World Empires (from Daniel 2 & 7)
According to Daniel’s prophecy and the Revelation of Jesus Christ, five empires fall into the prophetic timeline:
-
Babylonian Empire
-
Medo-Persian Empire
-
Grecian Empire
-
Roman Empire
-
The revived Roman system (as seen in Revelation 13 and 17)
These empires are key to understanding the imagery in Revelation.
