It very right at this point to talk about the ways that God test His people periodically called dispensation.
What is dispensation?
It is the periods in the life of the people of God relating to God testing His people, this is called dispensation
The different types of Dispensations
A dispensation is a period of time which man kind is tested in respect of obedience to some specific revelations of the will of god.
There are seven of such dispensations in the bible.
1. The dispensation of innocence when mankind was created in innocence and placed in the garden of Eden Genesis 1:26-24.
God gave them commandments Genesis 2:16-17.
The woman fell through pride, the man deliberately 1st Timo. 2:14.
Then comes the restoration of mankind’s sinful nature where they lost the dispensation of innocence, which ended in the judgement of expulsion from the beautiful garden of Eden Genesis 3
2. Dispensation of conscience Genesis 3:22
3.Dispensation of human government Genesis 8:20
4. Dispensation of Promise Genesis 8:20
5. Dispensation of the giving of Laws Exo. 19:8
6 Dispensation of Grace through Jesus Christ John 1:17
7.The Dispensation of the fullness of time
As I have said about all the dispensations that mankind has gone through, there is none that we did not make mistakes or sinned, for we are human beings fallible to commit sins and make mistakes, in every dispensation, there is always a shake up or man to be corrected from faults, Christ gave us the dispensation of Grace, though if we sin and confess our sins the blood of Jesus Christ cleanses us. But we are now going into the dispensation of the kingdom of the fullness of things where perfection is needed, and this can only be done through Christ Jesus by His Holy Spirit if we do and obey all His commandments and do His will. In all the dispensations, God gave us a will to know what is good or bad, and He allowed us to exercise our will to do whatever we choose to do. But we do not always do the right things. Remember Adam &Eve fell through disobedience, sin entered the world, since then man has been struggling with the forces of evil, though Christ came to redeem us from the sins of Adam &Eve with His blood called dispensation of grace in which if we sin and confess our sin His blood cleanses us,and all other confessed sins.
Remember that God gave us His Ten commandments to guide us through the time of Grace, but alas! These were not so, due to some powers beyond our control. The Jewish Rabbis added their own oral laws which they called “works of the laws” this was what Paul told the new converts to avoid the teachings of the Rabbis and their oral laws which they had already elevated above the laws of God.
