To all who read this epistle, the word of God can’t be understood by any human interpretation, knowledge, understanding, or wisdom. No one can use the idea of reading an ordinary book or novels to interpret the word of God. The interpretation of God’s word is purely by the Holy Spirit of God. Some scholars have tried to interpret the word of God by comparing the knowledge of books and the writings of mere historical writings to the interpretation of God’s word, and this is very damaging and cannot bring out the truth of God’s word. God speaks to people through His Holy Spirit in visions, revelations, dreams, and His audible voice and through the Holy Spirit in which one, believers, or in symbolic ways that servants of God can understand. Jesus Christ tells us in the gospel of John the works of the Holy Spirit,
John 16.7-14.
7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.
8 And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:
9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;
10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and ye see me no more;
11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.
12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but ye cannot bear them now.
13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.
14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.
In the passage above, Jesus Christ said that the Holy Spirit will show us things to come. According to this things to come, could be things that have passed or present things going on or things that have passed. For and example, in the book of revelation, Jesus Christ was telling John what went on in heaven before John was born. The war between the the angels of God and Satan, a terrible wars that Satan failed badly and cost Satan to loose the glory of God given to Satan and being cast out from heavens for eternity. Satan lost his place among the hosts of heaven for eternity. When Satan was in heaven, he was called Lucifer, star of the morning. When Satan was cast out from heaven, he became Satan, devil, or the perpetrator of all evils:
