Conclusion
Be assured, I am not comparing the faith in Jesus with works of faith which is the commandments of God, where the observance of the seventh day Sabbath, the feasts days of God and His new year but works of charity, wherever the fear of God rules in the heart, it will appear both in works of charity and of piety, neither will excuse from the otherJames 2. 1-26
The 7th Day Sabbath was:
Blessed
Sanctified, Hallowed or Set Apart
The Sabbath Commandments is to be remembered and kept by all mankind. Jesus Christ said in the Book of Mark chapter 2; verse 27: “And He said unto them the Sabbath was made for man (man here means all mankind) which includes all Christian and those who aspire to be followers of Jesus Christ to seize from them own works.)
The other part of the quotation is, and not man for the Sabbath: i.e. not to be idle but to do good works, worship services, prayer, fasting and all that we keep and do, going out healing the sick in the name of Jesus Christ, Bible fellowship, prayer meetings, evangelism. Furthermore, Jesus Christ did not abolish or condemn the Sabbath, but Jesus Christ said: “He is the Lord of the Sabbath”, (I.e. He created the Sabbath, He observed the Sabbath and He did well on the Sabbath by teaching and performing miracles.) These teach all his followers to do as He did. The Ten Commandments are not legalistic as many people see them, on the contrary, but to set us apart from this perverted world and to be a people hallowed for God and God alone. They teach us how to work with God and our neighbors in love.
Mark 3: “and He entered again into the Synagogue healing on the Sabbath day.”
That is an example of what the Lord did on a Sabbath day. The Lord of the Sabbath that Christ quoted was in the Greek writings of the New Testament which from the book of the Old Testament, Duet 5:14, quoted by Moses Lord of the Sabbath which was written in Hebrew the people that read from right to left Sabbath to the Lord.
Mark was written in Greek that reads from left to right Hebrew right to left be mass Sabbath of the Lord Jesus quotation of Mark in Greek “Lord of the Sabbath” left to right.
