In exodus 24:1-8
1 And he said unto Moses, Come up unto the LORD, thou, and Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel; and worship ye afar off.24 :2 And Moses alone shall come near the LORD: but they shall not come nigh; neither shall the people go up with him.24 :3 And Moses came and told the people all the words of the LORD, and all the judgments: and all the people answered with one voice, and said, All the words which the LORD hath said will we do.24 :4 And Moses wrote all the words of the LORD, and rose up early in the morning, and builded an altar under the hill, and twelve pillars, according to the twelve tribes of Israel.24 :5 And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.24 :6 And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar.24 :7 And he took the book of the covenant and read in the audience of the people: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient.24:8 And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, Behold the blood of the covenant, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words. The above verses were done away with by the blood of Jesus Christ, all the practices of the high priest Aaron and all the levitical priesthood, animal sacrifices, the tabernacle and it’s utensils have all been washed away by the blood of the new covenant, that is the blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Jesus Christ is life according to the Almighty God in the book of Genesis 9:3-6
3 Every moving thing that liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things.9 :4 But flesh with the life thereof, which is the blood thereof, shall ye not eat.9 :5 And surely your blood of your lives will I require; at the hand of every beast will I require it, and at the hand of man; at the hand of every man’s brother will I require the life of man.9 :6 Whoso sheddeth man’s blood, by man shall his blood be shed: for in the image of God made he man. The blood of Jesus Christ is the word in John 1:1
