The Origin of the Roman Catholic Church and Its Fall from Truth
It is very necessary to repeat this because it is very, very important for us believers to know. God Almighty revealed this to me—not through my own knowledge, understanding, or wisdom—and it is very true.
Now is the right time and place to tell you why the Roman Catholic Churches were built on Peter, one of the apostles of our Lord Jesus. The Bishop of Rome was an evil man who revolted from the true church of Jesus Christ. He acted as the Antichrist, a rebel, a hater of God, Jesus Christ, and all the truth of God, as you will read below.
The Command from Jesus Christ to Expose the Papacy
The Lord Jesus Christ commanded me to tell your churches and the world about how Satan—the dragon, the devil, the lawless man, and the eternal source of all evil on earth—continues to work through all the children of disobedience, and through all peoples, nations, kingdoms, and tongues. This evil works especially through Rome and the Papacy worldwide.
I am to tell your churches about the revelations God gave me concerning this evil Satan, whom the Almighty cast out of heaven to the earth along with all his evil angels. This happened because Satan rebelled against Almighty God and Christ. Upon coming to earth, with the greatest shame and disgrace known to mankind, he turned his wrath on Adam and Eve and caused the whole world to sin greatly against God, their Creator.
Satan also worked in the hearts of all disobedient people across the earth, and through Rome, the false prophet, and the Papacy—the Antichrist.
The Bishop of Rome and the Sabbath Change
During the reign of Constantine, emperor of Rome, the so-called Bishop of Rome was the one who changed God’s law regarding the Sabbath. He changed the observance from the seventh day (Saturday) to the sixth day (Sunday), making it a law on March 7th, A.D. 321.
This Bishop of Rome elevated himself and the Roman Catholic Church to the position of Papacy and declared himself the head of all Roman Catholic Churches worldwide.
The Transfer of the Church’s Foundation and the “Falling Away”
This Bishop transferred the foundation of Jesus Christ’s church, which Christ had given to the apostles, to the idolatrous city of Rome. Because of his great hatred for Christ and under the influence of Satan, he fell completely away from the true church of Christ.
He proclaimed this “falling away” by changing the laws of the then Roman Empire. He declared Sunday a day of rest for Roman workers and dedicated it to the sun god of Rome. The Roman Catholic Churches worldwide were forced to adhere to this plan.
This act was disguised as an attempt to please Emperor Constantine and the Romans, but in truth, it was driven by the evil spirit ruling the Bishop’s heart—aimed at removing the true seventh-day Sabbath and opposing God’s commandments.
The Papacy’s Rise and the Vatican
By this deception, the Bishop of Rome became the ruler over Rome, Italy, and eventually the whole world. Constantine, unaware of the Bishop’s evil intentions, accepted this Sunday law, which pleased the Romans.
Using sorcery and deceit, the Bishop elevated himself to the Papacy and founded the Vatican—a small country inside the city of Rome. The Vatican became a kingdom that rules and controls the Catholic Church and influences the entire world with its deceptive and worldly power.
The Papacy’s Rebellion Against God and His Commandments
The Papacy committed the worst rebellion known to mankind. It caused many churches to name themselves after men—Methodist, Baptist, Church of England, Apostolic churches, and many others—revolting against God and His commandments.
The Bishop of Rome declared Sunday a day of rest, directly opposing God’s seventh-day Sabbath as commanded in Genesis 2:1-3. From that time, the Papacy began changing God’s laws, adding and taking away from His Word, and removing books from the Bible—labeling them apocryphal and non-canonical.
The Man of Sin Revealed
The Bishop made himself the “vicar” (meaning substitute or representative of Christ on earth) as foretold in 2 Thessalonians 2:3-4:
“Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, showing himself that he is God.”
The Papacy’s mitre bore the title “Vicarious Filii Dei” (Vicar of the Son of God), a counterfeit of what God commanded Moses to write on Aaron’s mitre: “Holiness unto the Lord.”
The Papacy as the True Antichrist and Rome as the False Prophet
God reveals that the Papacy is the true Antichrist, and Rome is the false prophet working under Satan’s power. Satan, the dragon, the devil, and the enemy of God and Christ, has manipulated the Papacy to deceive the world.
This “falling away” from the true church, spoken of by Paul in 2 Thessalonians 2:3, was the Papacy’s rebellion. The Pope exalted himself as the vicar of Christ, demanding worship and power over God’s church.
The Call to Leave Sunday Worship
Through this revelation, God commands His saints to stop worshiping the corrupt Papacy on Sunday. Revelation 18:4 calls the faithful to come out of this lawless man’s Sunday worship.
God has now abolished the Sunday law imposed by the Papacy and destroyed all its evil feast days, as described in Revelation chapters 17 and 18.
Preparing the Church for Christ’s Second Coming
Jesus Christ prepares us as He did the prophets and apostles—with grace and mercy—so that we may be blameless and ready for His second coming. God will strip Satan of all glory, and the church must stand firm, knowing this truth about the Papacy and Rome.
We must pray for wisdom, knowledge, understanding, visions, and dreams to recognize Satan’s tactics and to preach God’s truth boldly.
The Danger of Unbelief and the Need for Faith
The entire world must accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Rejecting Him is sin, leading to eternal death, as Jesus said in John 16:9: “Of sin, because they believe not on Me.”
May the Holy Spirit work mightily in us to demonstrate faith with virtue, patience, and endurance, living truthfully and righteously in preparation for Christ’s return.
The Papacy’s Corruption of Scripture
The Papacy corrupted the Bible by commanding reverend fathers to add, omit, or alter God’s words, dates, and commandments—confusing God’s people.
For example, the Catholic Church teaches that Jesus died on Good Friday and rose on Sunday, which does not match Jesus’ own prophecy of three days and three nights (like Jonah’s experience).
Despite these manipulations, God’s Holy Spirit continues to guide His saints to know the true Word of God.
