Visions That God Showed Me Concerning the Seventh Day Sabbath
Date: 06-08-01
The Vision
I was in a dream, and in front of me stood a multitude of people dressed in white. By the Spirit of God, I told them about the seventh-day Sabbath — that it is the day God Himself chose for Christians to observe for life. All those whose names are written in the Book of Life of Jesus Christ will observe the seventh-day Sabbath worldwide before the second coming of Christ, says the Lord God Almighty.
What is the Sabbath?
Isaiah 11:10 (NIV)
“In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious.”
This verse reveals that Christ is our rest, and His rest will be glorious.
From this, we understand that those who accept Christ as Lord and Savior enter into His rest. He instituted a physical day of rest from physical labor in Genesis 2:1–3, and later gave it as a commandment to the Jews — His people for all ages who are in Christ.
Christ affirmed this in Mark 2:28:
“The Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
In Leviticus 23:3, He told the Israelites through Moses:
“It is the Sabbath of the Lord.”
This Sabbath belongs to God Almighty. When His people keep it, they honor both Him and His Word. God’s commandments set His people apart from a rebellious world. The seventh-day Sabbath is a sign between God and His Church (both Old and New Testament), meant to deliver them from the bondage and rule of Rome — which God will soon overthrow.
Christ and the Sabbath
If Christ is the REST, He also instituted that rest and rested from His works to do God’s works on the Sabbath. As He asked the Jews:
“Is it lawful to do good on the Sabbath days, or to do evil? To save life, or to kill?”
Biblical Foundation of the Sabbath
Deuteronomy 5:14–15 (excerpt):
“The seventh day is a Sabbath to the LORD your God. On it, you shall not do any work… so that your manservant and maidservant may rest, as you do.
Remember that you were slaves in Egypt and that the LORD your God brought you out… therefore the LORD your God has commanded you to observe the Sabbath day.”

The Relevance of the Ten Commandments
