The Prophesied Change of the Sabbath
Daniel 7:25
“He shall speak great words against the Most High… and think to change times and laws…”
In A.D. 336, the Council of Laodicea (under Rome) officially transferred Sabbath observance from Saturday to Sunday.
Pope Gregory introduced the Gregorian calendar in 1582, adjusting time and further distancing from the original Sabbath.
Final Invitation
We invite you to observe and enjoy the seventh-day Sabbath with us.
Christ is returning.
He is the Creator.
He is the One who gave us the Sabbath.
He said:
“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
See the details below:

When the Julian calendar was corrected by Pope Gregory XIII in 1582, ten days were dropped from the calendar count, as shown above. What would have been Friday the 5th became the 15th. The sequence of the days of the week was not changed or interrupted, and it has remained consistent in every calendar since.
The week in use at the time of Christ is exactly the same as the week in our calendar today. Sunday is the first day of the week, and Saturday is the seventh. Jesus lived under the Roman calendar. See below.
God’s Day | Jews | Romans | Week/ Days |
1st Day | 1st Day | god of Suns Day | Sunday |
 |  | god of moon | Monday |
 |  | god of Tue | Tuesday |
 |  | god of wood | Wednesday |
 |  | god of Thru | Thursday |
 |  | god of Frig | Friday |
 |  | god of Saturn’s day | Saturday |
These are examples of God’s own work on the Sabbath:
1 Chronicles 9:32
“And other of their brethren, of the sons of the Kohathites, were over the shewbread, to prepare it every Sabbath.”

Were the Ten Commandments abolished or destroyed?
No, they were fully established by Christ.
Luke 16:17 – “It is easier for heaven and earth to pass than for one tittle of the law to fail.”
Matthew 5:18 – “For verily I say unto you, till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled.”
Cloud and darkness must cover the brightness of the throne of God until it pleases Him to enable us to bear the bright beams of His glory.
In the meantime, we trace His footsteps through the sea of the Gentile world—His path in the mighty waters of man’s ambitious and clashing passions.
We look forward to the day when the bondage of Rome, which has perpetuated intellectual and spiritual slavery, is overthrown. On that day, the dawn of spiritual knowledge and true holiness will rule the world.
Stop worshiping the beast on Sundays.
This is the beast who claims infallibility, professes to forgive sins, claims to open and shut heaven, issues bulls and anathemas, excommunicates princes, absolves subjects from their allegiance, and exalts obedience to his decrees in open violation of reason and Scripture.
See Daniel 7:8–20; 8:24–25; 11:28–37.
You have been told. Take heed.
God’s word is established forever:
Psalm 119:89 – “Forever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.”
Christ and the Sabbath
Matthew 12:8 – “For the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath.”
Jesus created the Sabbath, sanctified it, and hallowed it.
Genesis 2:1–3 – At its creation, God told the Israelites to completely rest, stay away from work, and focus on Him. This was a full rest—not just idleness—but a time of devotion.
Jesus came to bring light to the Sabbath as its creator and the creator of all things. He did not abolish it. Rather, He said:
Matthew 12:12 – “It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath.”
To make a heavy load lighter does not mean removing the load altogether. Christ did not nail the Ten Commandments to the cross—He removed only the ceremonial ordinances, such as the sacrifice of animals.
Christ came to rearrange—not remove—the commandments. He taught that it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, and at no time did He abolish the fourth commandment or any of them.
Christ Reinforces the Commandments
Matthew 22:37 – “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.”
If we truly love God, as Christ said, we will obey all His commandments.
John 15:10 – “If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love.”
Faith in Jesus Christ and obedience to His commandments cannot be separated.
Revelation 14:12 – “Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.”
Revelation 11:19 – “The temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament.”
The commandments are still in heaven and have not changed.
The Sabbath Is to Be Kept Holy
Dear reader, no matter your arguments or assumptions, the Ten Commandments must be observed—including the seventh-day Sabbath.
It is not a day of idleness but a day for worship, praise, evangelism, and healing in the name of Jesus Christ. It is a day for God and God alone.
“The Sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath” (Mark 2:27). It is a time to do God’s work, not our own.
Salvation through faith and the Ten Commandments are inseparable. As Christ said, “If you love me, keep my commandments.”
The Future of Worship
Isaiah 66:22–23 –
“For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, saith the Lord, so shall your seed and your name remain.
And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, saith the Lord.”
Also read Revelation 15:4 and Isaiah 66:23–24.
There is no shortcut to obedience.
Adam and Eve died spiritually because of disobedience.
The Israelites who left Egypt died in the wilderness because of disobedience.
People perished in the flood for the same reason.
Kings lost their thrones for disobedience.
Jesus emphasized obedience throughout His life—even unto death on the cross. Confessing Christ without obeying Him is not true faith.
Faith in Christ is total obedience to His Word.
